Yep. Old Mr. Big Hair himself. I don't get them fancy cable channels, or I'd be watching Chris Matthews like you all.

Yep, in his stupid victory speech tonight he whined about every single thing he voted for like the education bill and the Patriot Act he hammered Bush on.

I half expected to see Dean reaching for an "oxygen" mask a la Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet.

If a supporter (although not absolute #1) could be taken aback by such a performance, think of a person just seeing him for the first time."

Good point....It was over the top....even Harkin in the background looked uneasy while Dean was raving!

Note to DUmbass lurkers: Your big union power base has been shown to be impotent. They backed both of tonight's big losers.

I guess Communism isn't as popular in Iowa as I thought.

I was really hoping Dean would wait until he had the nomination to implode. Well at least I take comfort in the fact that Dems just blew 100 million dollars on a person that they now know is a freak.

Ditto!

OMG - Susan Estridge was just on Alan Colmes radio show and said that Kerry not only married Theresa for money but that he cheats on her and the Boston HErald is all over the story and has been for years.

Estridge says he's not QUITE as big a philanderer as Clinton, but close...!!!

"Son of a mill factory" manager" would be more accurate, although it's not quite as "just plain folks" as "son of a mill worker". Edwards' Daddy, if I'm not mistaken, was "boss man" at the mill, at least by the time Edwards was growing up.

I guess "son of a mill worker" sounds better than "son of a cracker".

senator, what ever possessed you to cast a vote that would have allowed Saddam Hussein to annex 75 % of the world known oil reserves?

I don't really think that something that long ago can be a killer bullet. Most of the Dems were in the same boat. Meanwhile the Democracy thing in Iraq has the potential to blow up a bit in Bush's face. The interesting thing will be to see how much Kerry's war record can cut into Bush country if he gets the nomination. As I said, the dangerous thing is that these rather talented politicians get a lot of practice in a primary campaign in jettisoning what doesn't sell. And Kerry and Edwards are both talented. Make no mistake about it. In fact, I smell a possible ticket.

Poor Dean. In some ways, I feel for him.
