My faith in the good people from SC to find this guy to be ingenuine is almost as absolute

I'm more worried about the whole country in general

Remember in 92 .. no one knew much about Clinton except what the press told them

And they will try it again if we don't stop them

And the Packers never lose at home in the playoffs!

Don't put any faith in these type of statistics.

Well, AFCSME is discredited, and Gephardt is out. Now, we can hope that Dean is the comeback kid next week in New Hampshire.

Hard to believe isn't it? Now, we need to figure out how much money Howie has left in his campaign accout. He had quite a nice pile of money, and I'm sure he has more than enough to get him thru NH. But he cannot focus on NH alone, now. If you see anything with details of what is left in his campaign account, would you ping me to it?

Yeah, guess that would be a sitting Senator winning the White House, so that takes care of the more extreme of my examples.

But how about a sitting Senator sans executive branch experience winning?

And while you are right with Kennedy, that was one wicked close election, which Kennedy may not really have won, if not for some help from the Daleys...

Speaking of Wes, does anyone want to predict how he will affect things in NH?

It'll make things messy. Kerry will have to contest Clark for the "I was in favor of the war resolution but against the actual war" vote. That gives Dean one more chance to come out on top, if Kerry and Clark split what passes for the "responsible" Dem voters. And Dean still has plenty of money.

But Rush was right.

We've been saying that right here on FR since Dean began his quest.

which was fought in f***in' Vietnam, did a lot of Vietnam f***in' guitar playin'
in Vietnam as a f***in' Vietnam Veteran in f***in' Vietnam.

One thing the DUmmies need to remember, Sometime in the coming months, (after his nationally televised panic attack) and after being declared no longer a threat to the general public, Howard Dean will join many of those who endorsed him in the catagory of (not totally worthless), can always serve as bad examples

I may be reading too much into this...but look what happened to Harkin's endorsee...comes in a poor 3rd. Let's hope it's a sign of things to come...Harkin's influence waning...with any luck he can follow Howdy-Dickie down the "toast" highway to obscurity.

Nothing is constant but change, and every first that has ever happened never had happened before.

But I stand by my assertion that voters tend to look at those with only legislative experience a bit more skeptically, and I see no reason to think that has changed.

If Dean blows up now, there goes the entertainment for the next few months.

Yeah, ain't it a shame LOL.

Bet the campaign teams of the losers are getting sufficiently medicated right now.
