If your state is holding a "primary" vote for the Republican candidate for president, Citizens Lobby strongly urges you to cast a "blank" ballot -- OR write in a candidate of your choice.
We recommend Tom Tancredo, Ron Paul, Pat Buchanan or Alan Keyes...
President Bush needs a wake call and your vote is a great way to send him a message.

What good are your principles when you can use the power of an office to at least TRY to put them into action?Well, one could huddle together in a "feel good" session, and discuss how much better off everyone would be if ONLY our ilk's favorite would only have made it to the presidency.

Keyes has accomplished a lot more personally coming from extremely humble background than Bush ever could. Typical Keyster. You can't say something about your guy without tearing down somebody else.
I'm not sure if it's Keyes I dislke or his arrogant, in-your-face followers.

We have an open primary in TN. I'm crossing over for Dean. NO WAY dean wins the general in TN, if Gore couldn't

Buchanan, isn't he the true conservative who ran with an avowed Marxist as his vice presidential pick?
No, Ezola Foster is not a Marxist. Ron Paul, isn't he the guy who figured out he could not win running as a Libertarian,
Yes. and say, hasn't he been on the same side as the Democrats over Iraq?
No, his sticking point is that there should have been a formal declaration of war. I agree with him on that, but feel he sticks to it a bit much.

The funniest part of that is that while they are denigrading US for voting for Bush, they are demanding that "real conservatives," i.e., not us.....LOL.....march in lockstep with them!Very good point!

Keyes has accomplished a lot more personally coming from extremely humble background than Bush ever could. Alan IS a humble person to devolve from from his pre-Presidentual runs to strive for a lesser position as the Presidency.

What is she then ? The fact remains ,Buchanan remains a spoiling loser and so are his supporters. You know, it's a cute cartoon, and many times I agree with your points, but ,as far as trying to show me , or anyone else, the true path, you need to buy a better GPS unit.

There you go again, trying to twist my statements. I never said Bush voters would be to blame. I said, in effect, the attitude and reasoning of the Bush purists is serving to convince me to stay home in November.
For you to say that the principled positions of a large number of conservatives is a "personal agenda" is intellectually dishonest.
Also, I disagree with your 91 and 9 percent figures. Conservatives make up more than half of the party, and it's entirely possible that half of those are extremely upset by the non-conservative positions of this administration. If you want to assume that only 9% will stay home, that would still lose him the election, wouldn't it?
As a business, if you were struggling and you lost 9% of your market due to decisions you made, you wouldn't examine your decisions and make some changes? You might as well order the For Sale signs now.

Wasn't that Congressional resolution a defacto declaration of war? Ron Paul's concerns are fatuous.

There you go. Now you understand.
But if the number of non-votes and 3rd-party-votes in the primary wouldn't bother him, then he's in trouble already.
To: gatorbait; Sabertooth
gatorbait, you're thinking of Lenora Fulani, who is most definitely far far left. She & Buchanan formed some sort of weird alliance, but Ezola Foster ended up as Buchanan's VP running mate.

GWB's non-defense discretionary spending is a greater percentage of GDP than Reagan's was, in Reagan's last four budgets. Misleading.
Bush has had only one year to make such a comparison and that one year includes about a 20 billion dollar increase for homeland defense that IS part of "domestic" spending as listed by the CBO. And even if you DO count in that 20 billion increase, Bushs 2002 spending of 3.5% is lower than Reagans 3.9% in 1982.
