[history]
THE anti-fur folk at PETA may have a new target: Sen. Hillary Clinton.
On Dec. 24, the Times' Boldfaced Names column reported that Manhattan furrier Peter Duffy "told us he had just finished a mink coat for Hillary Rodham Clinton."

So she's neither been to the store nor received a bill, but she did trade in her old mink for a new one.I know....but you were being far too generous, I fear. I really and truly would like this looked into. Is it not the case that politicians have been found to be in violation of rules for accepting watches and the like? No way would the story about the trade-in (if we can even believe THAT after they offered up one lie after the other) result in an even exchange.
Miss Marple, I know it's caucus night so you're probably focused on that, but if you see this ping I think you'd find the latest shenanigans of great interest.

I suppose I am now so cynical with respect to the Clintons that I do not expect there'd be an investigation of them if a mass grave was found in their backyard.

There's no telling just how many "gifts" Mrs. Clinton has received that exceed the $50 limit. Didn't some publishing firm give her an $8 million gift?

Wish we could still say that, but eventually she did get around to subcontracting to have the book written, so she satisfied the contract that made that "payment" not "gift."

You can always tell when a Clinton is lying--their lips move. They don't know HOW to tell the truth.

Isn't shearing a humane way to remove the fuzz from animals? It's not like skinning or anything.

The anti-PETA commercials I've seen on TV recently are great. Shining the light of truth will make PETA another NOW. A radical organization with less than 100 members with no political power.

So she's neither been to the store nor received a bill, but she did trade in her old mink for a new one. Wow! Mink coat wears out, trade it in even up for a brand new one! Pretty cool!

"What a waste of fur"Too right.
In order to wear fur and not look like a small woodland animal yourself, you have to have height, be relatively slender and have good posture; e.g., think Ann Coulter ( I used to finance a furrier).Hillary has none of these and it will be very much like the "lipstick on a pig" situation.
As proof, does anyone have a picture of her at the Bush inauguration in her S.S. Sturmbahnfurer's leather coat with the fur collar (probably madeof human hair)?
'Nuff said.
