Why don't they call their female buddies like Barbra Streisand,Madonna,Julia Roberts, etc. that have big bucks and produce their own movies with over 40 female characters? Why do they have to sit around and B&M about it? They've come a long way, haven't they?

Also, no way is Teri Garr 53. She was dancing in Elvis movies in the mid sixties. Nice try, Teri.

Teri Garr would have been 16 in 1966, perfect age for dancing in an Elvis movie.

Wasn't she in one of first season episodes of the original Star Trek? It was the one where Spock and Kirk went back in time to a Saturn launch. I think James Coburn (Cross of Iron) was in that same episode.

I believe you are right! She was born December 11, 1945. If my math is right, the young lady is 58.

I used to know a guy who's a very well known journalist and film writer, who has said that Terri Garr was by far his worst interview subject. She was continualy sniping at each and everyone of his questions. She was actually one of only two bad interview experiences hed had, the other being Tim Robbins, whom he called an "obnoxious schmuck" or something close. Mind you, one of his best friends is Harlan Ellison.

Garr was also in episode of Star Trek around 1967. She's probably more like pushing 60.

BS and the likes no it's the bottom line. They're afraid they'll lose money. On the other hand, SOMETHING'S GOTTA' GIVE is a great movie and it's about an older man who only dates young babes but falls in love with an older woman. It's not the older actresses, it's the scripts. And as long as people won't go see the movies unless they are babes to look at, the older actresses won't work.
