Here's an ugly possibility: Her husband wanted to be rid of her, and even though a Moslem divorce is easy for a husband to get, so much better if he could not only be rid of her but get several thousand dollars in PLO bounty to boot. So the husband arranges things so one of his Hamas buddies gets the wife caught in the act, and then the most she gets is a choice of how she will die (presumably, for the sake of her reputation and the prosperity of her children, she chooses to blow herself up).
