I wonder what the reaction of the ACLU would be if a Christian or Jewish layperson spoke to the class about their religion, its principles and how they treat persons of other faiths.

Ah yes. The lecture about how Islam isn't at all what looks like, acts like, talks like, walks like, smells like, and thinks like. Listen Abdul, perhaps more people would step into that steaming pile if your boys weren't yelling "Islam is a religion of peace" just before painting the walls of some pedestrian bus with their guts by detonating a bomb of peace strapped to their torso. There is NO country that is predominantly Muslim which isn't also oppressive, violent, and in ruins. The entire religion is a sham and Mr. Mohammad came up with the name Allah by stealing it from some other pagans who used the word to define the "god of the moon." Jesus wasn't just a "great prophet" - he is the son of the living God and he's your only way to heaven. Nice try assrabbit.

Personal courage is drilled out of kids in the public school system. Every where you turn around its a democrat or a liberal or a muslim spouting some insanely false edicts that we must all bear with good humor. ?

This must be a representative of the Bush Administrations Islamic wing of nut bags, not wanting to offend anyone of our billions of enemies. My suggestion is deport any muslim
we could find but unfortunately the INS cant even keep their shoes tied.

PBS had an hour long program on Islam the other night, part one. I fell asleep about ten minutes into it, but woke up farther along...I'd missed everything but Mohammed's messages to the faithful...he'd already died at this point in the program, so I didn't get to hear how he'd risen to heaven from the rock at Mecca. What I did notice was the unrelenting, oozing, oily flattering description of Islam as a 'religion of peace', and how miraculous its worldwide spread was. The other message was how lucky the conquered peoples were in each and every country, because they were all treated decently and were so much better off now! Golly gee. I missed part two. Presumably, it dealt with 9/11 in such a way that Americans would understand that we got exactly what we deserved. Understanding one's enemy is basic and smart, but for starters, we need to admit that we have a worldwide enemy and that it wasn't just a couple of bozos with a grudge and a few flying lessons, who didn't know how to land.
