Task Force Ironhorse Solders Get Assistance From Iraqi Citizens

TIKRIT, Iraq –
In two examples of how Iraqi citizens are taking responsibility for their country’s security and stability 173rd Airborne Brigade soldiers foiled an improvised explosive device attack and confiscated hundreds of rounds of mortar shells in the Kirkuk area.

In Sulaymn-Bak, soldiers raided a building in the evening of Jan. 14 after they learned from an Iraqi citizen that men who used the building were planning to attack Coalition Forces with improvised explosive devices. They captured two men suspected of being involved in the planning of the attack. They also confiscated an AK-47 assault rifle, materials used in making IEDs and a compact disk with the picture of Osama Bin Ladin’s face on it.

In a second raid, 20 kilometers northwest of Kirkuk, soldiers located and confiscated 400 mortar rounds in one location and 15 mortar rounds in another. The munitions were still in their storage containers and were half buried in the ground.

They are scheduled for destruction.

"They are scheduled for destruction."

If only we could place the detainees on the pile too.

Pray.

Those who would hurt us know that their days are numbered.

They will dump millions into our election through backchannels to fund the enemies of this President who stands up to him.

Rather to find a coward president: a Dean, a Clark, A Kerry.

PRAY for our President.

The compact disk should be made available to the media. I would love to see an independent evaluation of such a production, especially since it might include speeches given in Sudan in the nineteen nineties and in Saudi Arabia in the nineteen eighties. OBL produced scores of tapes during the period 1980-1996, but I wonder if anyone has tried to collect and list them by date and location?

I'll try to download it (for free) on my favorite "file sharing" program. It better be new stuff and not another greatest hits CD.

The Iraqi people are the best ones to identify these people. I think they know that their only hope for a free country is to round these guys up and get rid of them.
