Senator James Inhofe and Senator Don Nickles are two of the most conservative members of the Senate along with Senator Jeff Sessions of AL. President Bush has contact with these Senators and more conservative Republicans in Congress. If anyone dares call James Inhofe anything but conservative, then I don't have the foggiest idea what it means to be a conservative.
Ron Paul is a Republican only because he cannot get elected if he were anything else. He very seldom supports the President on anything including tax cuts. Why would Pres Bush rely on him for anything when he has conservatives he can rely on unless you don't consider Tom Delay a conservative either.
That's why so many of you lose your arguments -- you paint a broad brush about this President when you don't have facts to back them up.
BTW, Constitution Party, is not, never was, and never will be a part of the Republican Party.

Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't Ron Paul a Democrat at one time?

I know there are some conservative members of the GOP, but there are also many liberal members of the GOP.
