SAN JOSE, Calif. (Reuters) - Democrats in California, the nation's most populous state, gathered for their annual conference on Saturday battered and in disarray after Arnold's Schwarzenegger's rise to governor in a recall vote that tossed out the Democratic incumbent in October.

LOL!
Ah. I see the problem. Turning one's back on the people and leaving them in the dark is the DemocRATS' job. Arnold is treading on their territory!
Should read:
Arnold Schwarzenegger has turned his pumped-up back on the bureaucrats of this state,"
'Cause that's what it's all about. The DemonRATS represent the ever increasing army of low IQ morons who work for government. People who actually work for a living are cattle to be sacrificed on the altar of their god, Big Government.
Here's why the Democrats are acting stupid: Arnold isn't going to always be in politics. If they just cooperated with Arnold, cut the state's budget for a measely two years, and played along, that would be the end of it. Arnold would move on to other things, and the Republicans would have no one to replace him there in California. Moreover, the fiscal problems of the state would be solved if they cooperated with him, and it would be the *Democrats* who benefited from that fact after Arnold had moved on.
But oh no. These California Democrats are giving us free gifts. They are *fighting* California's popular governor. They are fighting any meaningful budget solutions, and they are trying to bring Gray Davis back into the limelight!
Even the woeful California GOP can't screw these gifts up. The Democrats are destroying their long-term future in California at every turn, and they aren't going to let anyone stop them.
'Tis a thing of great beauty...
Fire Democrats ~ Hire Republicans!
