I know who Rush Limbaugh is.
Who is Carl Hiaasen ?

I don't need to worship Rush Limbaugh because he shares most of my political views. He's entertaining. He's also pompous and arrogant. I listened to him today go on for thirty minutes with a political analysis that he warned everyone was "complex." It equaled that Bush and Rove's new illegal immigrant proposal is designed to get Hispanic votes for the republican party. His painkiller addiction is no big deal. Brett Favre was made a hero for the same problem. Rush is a hypocrite because he's playing the criminal defense game with a top lawyer and he isn't admitting that to his listeners, while claiming he shares everything with them. He obviously isn't going to be man enough to admit he did something wrong. Like everyone, he wants to walk away with no adverse consequences.

So you think because he's a Conservative, he shouldn't defend himself to the best of his ability? You think he should just roll over and take the punch? If so, you're insane.

Yeah, I'm a Rush fan, and I thought the first half of it was amusing. Then the writer starts trying to equate medical records w/ monica's mouth (admittedly there could be a bona fide medical concern here--about the mouth, I mean)...anyway when he started trying to compare apples and the Oranges, it reminded me about bubba's medical records & how he neverrrrr did release those, now did he? Which might be one more reason why the CDC should be investigating monica's mouth....

A liberal writer for the Miami Herald, author of a couple of non fiction books, revolving around life in South Florida. His early books were amusing, his later books were unreadable- thick with pc,environmental liberalism. The villains were always conservative Republicans.

No, you got it wrong. Rush's listeners know his grandfather was a lawyer & a judge, his dad was a lawyer and his brother is a lawyer. Contrary to popular myth, Rush's listeners are smart enough to figure out that Rush is ''playing the criminal defense game'' all by them ownselves without Rush having to divulge his entire defense strategy on the radio. Which would be pretty damned stupid, now don't you think?

You may find there is a lot more to the story in the end but it is your right to make judgements before you know most of the circumstances.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
We can forgive you for being a pillhead but never for being a liberal. Got that right buster! It is about the only truthful statement in your little fantasy!

To Libs, Rush could weigh 140 pounds and he still would be portrayed as fat.

Imagine what would've happened if the special prosecutors had listened to her pleas for privacy. There would have been no impeachment of Bill Clinton... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the special prosecutor never did get a copy of Monica's or Clinton's medical records.
