In 3d hour of today's Limbaugh show, Rush was referring to a newspaper article from California. Was having a little trouble remembering some mundane details of the story and remarked "I'm having a little trouble remembering all the details of the story. I got it off Free Republic this morning!"

I know he has mentioned FR in the past, it just seems that he's mentioned it more over the last couple of weeks.

The reason I started coming to FR everyday in '97 is because I would read an article on FR in the morning & when Rush came on he would read the same article on the air. I don't know that he got the article off FR but I felt like I was getting the important stuff even before Rush.

No. Think about it. You're on alot, but often post nothing except bumps and pings. When you do post anything more, you don't really argue points, though you seem to gravitate to controversial topics. It almost seems like you are trying to avoid inadvertantly giving away anything that could be used to infer your personality. Connecticut is Coulter's home state, and your freeper handle is nutmeg. Lastly, you seem to have some kind of relationship to many alpha-freepers, but it seems to be out of public view. Granted, writing it out makes it sound kinda thin, but hey, I don't mind a bet now and again-especially when it costs nothing to lose.

Um, geez, I've never had anyone follow my posts so closely before, but here's some additional info for you, if you're interested:

I post pings to my five ping lists (two very active, three very infrequent). The bumps are usually sort of a bookmark so I can find the thread again.

I don't "argue points" because I don't have the time nor inclination to keep up running arguments with other FReepers across many different threads. I am on FR primarily to learn. The humorous stuff on FR provides a nice break occasionally. Once in awhile I'll make a comment or two on a thread, if I have the time. I try to stay away from controversial statements (see first sentence in this paragraph again).

What I know about Ann Coulter... Yes, I believe her parents still live in CT. As far as I know, she lives in NYC and in Florida... no longer in CT.

What is an "alpha-freeper"?

Dittos to your entire post. I never had a brother, just sisters, and he's been a "big brother" to me as well. For me, it was the lonely '92 election and it's aftermath. I sometimes wondered him and I were the only two votes for Bush in the entire country.

Rush has talked about Free Republic for a long time now. Remember the "dangling Daschle"superimposed photo of Daschle over Michael Jackson's baby being held over the balcony? He had that on his site, gave Free Republic lots of attention.

PSSSSSSSsssst- hey Rush, if you're lurking, can I offer you a little unsolicited advice? Have you considered moving away from that corrupt insane-asylum known as Palm Beach county Florida?

Can I suggest sunny So. California-especially around San Diego-La Jolla, Del Mar, anywhere in that area is nice (its conservative mostly too), Orange County, or, Santa Barbara? We have the same type of weather as Florida, but without the humidity, bugs, alligators, and infiltration of blue- haired liberals from the North.

(I can't understand why Rush and Marta would want to live around a bunch of ultra-liberal snobs. That would be my definition of hell.)
