CHurches get things done. A dollar to a church program is a dollar that will be used for its intended purpose. Agreed, as long as it is a voluntary dollar, and not a confiscated dollar in the form of taxes.

How was it debunked?See post #27. People who were at the party with him have stated that he was not drinking alcoholic beverages.

I've got to believe he is going to make a little headway with black voters this time around.I would consider 2 or 3 % decent headway. Time is moving on. The Republican party is becoming more overtly religion-friendly. Perhaps the impact on some communities of alternate news sources is delayed. Blacks don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, but they watch cable news. Perhaps by 2008, the headway will grow to 5-6 % more.
I know the conventional wisdom. But socially conservative and affluent blacks are going to slowly leave the Deanocrats.

He was NOT drinking. This has been pointed out over and over and over, especially when the tape first surfaced.
Sure, pal. Keep telling yourself that. I personally don't care if he lied about his drinking timeline, therefore I can look at the tape objectively. You, however, cannot fathom that your knight in shining armour could possibly tell an untruth, therefore cannot view the tape objectively. The tape doesn't lie, but even the best people do on occasion.
