I don't know much about Matt Blunt except for last year's tobacco lobbyist flap. It seems to me he starts out with a handicap or am I missing something...
To: Eric in the Ozarks
I missing something...As Sec. of State he came up with the plan to reign-in the voter fraud in St. Louis. Seemed to have worked in 2002 in which Jim Talent won.

I wouldn't worry too much. If 50% is the best he can do in STL, he's toast. They've been calling him One Term Bob on the hill for the last 2 years.

Turkey buzzard. At least down here in this neck of the woods. Ugly things-but they keep the roads clean...

They've been calling him One Term Bob If voter fraud hadn't been so widespread in 2000, it might have been zero-term Bob.

Majority Whip, yes. Slated to replace Tom Delay if/when he becomes Speaker of the House.

Good observation. Those unfamiliar with Missouri may think Governor "Holdup" will get re-elected. But as you say, if that is the best he can do in St.L? He's toast come November! Hard to believe he is an Ozarks boy. I am sick of his gun-grabbing, anti-RKBA rants. His obstruction of CCW. His pro-tax, liberal agenda, as well as his union pandering.
I hope to hell SW MO can likewise rid itself of his flaming liberal brother! A judge up in Greene County (Springfield) who has a thing for releasing dangerous thugs on low bail amount$!
