Braun was to officially endorse the former Vermont governor Thursday afternoon during an appearance at Carroll High School in Carroll, Iowa, said Dean campaign manager Joe Trippi.

I'm not really surprised she'd throw her support behind Dean

But it sure will be interesting to see how the other clowns deal with this

Didn't surprise me either. I knew there was a possibility she was going to drop out. Her coming to Dean's defense at the Black/Brown debate this past weekend was sort of an indicator.

Braun never broke out of single digits in national and state polls

That's because she never broke into single digit support, anywhere. Bwahahahahahaha!
I remember her first campaign appearance in Des Moines last summer. One guy showed up, an old Law School classmate, and he was looking for a job.

Now I'm wondering why Terry MacAwful and his Band of Merry Chiselers at the DNC let her endorse Dean. I had her pegged as the DNC's cork in the bottle of Al Sharpton's campaign so she would draw off some black support and help keep him off the podium at the convention.

Did she begin her speech with "I thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to be here today"? HAHAHA!

I was thinking the same thing..

Rats to Blacks:
Who cares what you think? We have your vote anyway!

GOP to Conservatives:
Who cares what you think? We have your vote anyway!

This was expected. Now she has what she wanted - a prestigious title: "Former Presidential Candidate."

In my opinion she was THE most dignified, and presidential of all the candidates on the other side.

Little off subject but Joe Biden is on the IMUS program for the next 15 minutes or so. I'm sure he'll talk about everything.

The headlines today should really read "Howard Dean Accepts Endorsement from Carol Mostly-Fraud".

I could just see GWB formally accepting support from someone of Mostly-Fraud's ilk.

What's next for Howard as his fortunes slip? An endorsement from Michael Jackson?
