Man Charged In Alleged Sexual Assault On Dog

12:34 p.m. EST January 8, 2004 - A West Palm Beach man faced charges Thursday after he was caught sexually assaulting a neighbor's dog, Palm Beach County deputies said.

Officials said William McPhillips, 50, a registered sex offender, sexually assaulted a young mixed-breed dog (pictured, left). Deputies said a caretaker at McPhillips' group home saw the attack.

"(McPhillips) noticed he was being watched," said Palm Beach County Sheriff's Deputy Cassie Kovacs. "He covered himself with a sheet, and then the dog got away, and then she saw (McPhillips) masturbating himself."

Kovacs said McPhillips (pictured, far right) was allegedly sodomizing the dog with a spoon, and the dog was yelping in pain. Kovacs added that the incident was not the first time McPhillips has been seen involved in disturbing acts with the dog and other animals.

I hope to God he IS put away for life. I'm glad this dog is OK...poor thing. We should not have to live with people who do this kind of thing. He should be put away. then those who don't think he did anything wrong can visit him in prison or take him cookies or candy or whatever but...the rest of us will not have to deal with this "thing" who calls himself a human being. Real Human beings don't behave in this manner. I'm sick of this stuff.

Kovacs...said she was not able to arrest McPhillips for bestiality, only for animal cruelty and exposing himself. In Florida, it is not illegal to have sex with animals, Kovacs said.

Sex crimes prosecutor Lanna Belohlavek said bestiality was removed from the statute years ago when it was deemed unconstitutional.

I worked for La. Dept of Corrections from 1992 - 1997..there was a young white boy there (19-20) that lived next door to a deputy sheriff...The deputy had a large female German Shepard that was in heat.

The deputy left for work and returned home about 15 minutes later because he had forgotten something. Tommy and the shepard were playing "bury the bone" and the deputy arrested him...I'm not sure how many years he got but his nickname was "doggiestyle".

One of my dear friends worked in an ER, and she said a man walked in with a trenchcoat on. When he opened it up, he had a chicken stuck in an inopportune place on his body. The poor chicken was just hanging there, dead as a doornail.

I had never heard of such a thing at the time. She just laughed, and said that she had seen things even more bizarre than that. Scary!
