Don't be so sure that the venture is doomed....every lib/communist/socialist leaning person in the World will make it a point to tune in...the same way Hillery's book sold so well....libs bought it...not because of her literary skills, philosophy, high ideals, culinary advice, health and exercise tips, advice for the lovelorn, or anything else for that matter.....but just to have a lib....any lib.... look good and be perceived as doing well and well thought of. Heck....I heard that the DNC bought a lot of the books to give away.....if anybody needed a little riser for their computer monitor.

I suspect the same thing. The libs will get their marching orders to tune in, or at least fudge the numbers somehow. Also, many conservatives from here and elsewhere will unfortunately tune in just to mock the show. Kind of like why we see umpteen liberal articles posted here every day.
The big media will hype this thing up tp make it sound successful, hoping to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The Democratic Party bought huge numbers of Hildabeast's book. It gives them away at various functions, and so forth. It will also subsidize the lib radio network until the election.

Hold on to those BARF BAGS, cause it's gonna get REAL sickening! Watch for the ALL the TV stations and the HELLywood demons come out and promote this trash talk radio! After a couple of months, watch them HAIL it as the most wonderful thing that happen to talk radio! I agree they'll make a point of tuning in, possibly for even a week! The act of buying a book (or being handed a freebie from the DNC) takes only minutes, not a huge commitment of time. I don't see it being successful tho and no matter what SNL producers think, Al Franken has never been funny... he's too bitter and close minded. IMHO of course.

Hillary's book sold well because yes there were libs who wanted to "do their duty" to defend her name. She also did a substantial signing tour (with many signed copies then going on sale at eBay or Bookfinder). Librarians did their part to buy in quantity (over 50 copies for Houston). It also presented a convenient way to hide a payoff "I'll take x number of books".

The Dixie Chicks were the ones who had libs buying their albums even though they hated country music. There were even libs who admitted to such behavior.

Yes, the DNC was able to inflate Hillary's books sales by buying mass quantities to give away to donors, but the DNC can't artificially inflate a talk show's listenership the same way. For Franken's show to go anywhere, people will really have to spend time suffering his unfunny rant and arrogance.

I suspect even Liberals can only take the bore Franken in limited doses.
