Good Morning FRiends...I have a 'new' (loaned) quilt program EQ4 and I'm getting lots of exercise with the right index finger on the mouse button. Does that count as exercise?

In The Morning
Read: Mark 1:23-39
In the morning . . . He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. Mark 1:35
Bible In One Year: Genesis 33-35; Matthew 10:1-20
Are you so rushed during the day that you find it hard to take even a few minutes to spend with God? Many people set aside time in the early morning before they get caught up in the hectic pace of the day.
I read about a very busy man who somehow manages to find time for giving the day a spiritual jump-start. He's Dr. Ben Carson, chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children's Center, a position he assumed in 1984 when he was only 33 years old.
Here's Carson's testimony about the value of putting spiritual things first: "I've found that having a morning ritualmeditation or some quiet reading timecan set the tone for the whole day. Every morning, I spend a half-hour reading the Bible, especially the book of Proverbs. There's so much wisdom there. During the day, if I encounter a frustrating situation, I think back to one of the verses that I read that morning."
Jesus faced busy days filled with demanding crowds of people. In Mark's gospel we read, "In the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed" (1:35).
Do you take time to read God's Word and pray? Try it in the morning. It can transform your day. Vernon Grounds
In the stillness of the morning,
Before a busy day of care,
How sweet to be alone with God
Through His holy Word and prayer. Anderson
Let Christ be first in your thoughts in the morning, and last in your thoughts at night.

Cute! Wish there was a way to FReep while being on a stairmaster!
You even had time to make a hostess graphic, it's a nice fit for me, feels like I live in the Artic Circle up here. lol!

Good morning Angel. Please don't hurt yourself doing all those exercises. I think I will stay in bed and contemplate the upcoming snowstorm and see if I can get somebody to shovel the stuff.
Seriously it is a very good post.

Great post, dansy, and an inspiration to all us
addicted devoted Finest Freepers....
I'll have you know I positively excel at these exercises, having more time than most to devote to it. Even handicapped as I was last Spring with my broken right arm in a cast 5 weeks and a lot of physical therapy, I rose to the challenges of manning the keyboard at least 8 hours a day.
The extra effort that required kept me from gaining weight, unable to do much housework...:)) (sad....so sad...)
Okay, all you idle-minded patriots - how many calories DO we burn per keystroke?
We need to know such things, and calculate ways to expand our Freeping Time according to the rise and fall of our heft factor....
We will not be defeated by January sloth, mandated by days of too cold to go outside to play...

My physical therapist says FReepin' on the keyboard isn't enough exercise, so she scheduled more appointments. :(

Okay dansy, I have put down the jelly donut, donned my exercise duds and am going to give this freepersize thing a try. You did say the results are guaranteed?
Wishing one and all a pleasant evening. I am off to run some errands, I will do my best to get back here this evening.
