You hear it in the coffee shops all over the "red areas" of the map. Everyone knows that is where the real politics is discussed in America. Conservatives are asking themselves, "What was the President thinking?" They might be talking about No Child Left Behind, or steel tariffs or the signing of many less than conservative bills.
In the coffee shops in the "blue areas," liberals don't sit around much. They are too angry and busy to stop for a while but many are thinking that President Bush is the most conservative president in years, since "oh, my God, Reagan," and he must be stopped.
Both of these assessments cannot be true and after spending years looking at politics, I took my first serious stand on a candidate in 1968 at the tender age of 9, if both sides are mad at you, you are probably on the right track. So why should conservatives and moderates support the President, now on issues and later this year at the ballot box?

Based on the history of this President, we better not count him out till we see how things unfold. He is what conservatives asked for in a President. He cut taxes, got our economy going again and lives and breathes the safety of this country and the people in it. When it is all said and done, George W. Bush does what he believes is right for the American people and he is willing to stand on his record in November.

Who do you think had the responsibility for enforcing immigration laws? Joe 6-pack? NO, the worthless govt. Who has been in bed with the back-stabbing Saudis? All those soccer moms? NO, the state department! Bin Laden wants us out of Saudi Arabia. Well, so do I. I don't give a shit about their flea-bitten kingdom. We can buy oil from whoever owns it. Besides, if it were a bit more scarce, we would develop technology to stretch it out a bit. Do I want to hug Bin Laden? No, I want a bullet between his eyes because he has declared war on the US. That does not excuse the fact that the US has been involved overseas far more than it should be.
Have you noticed that all of the media puppets are back to using "now 8 million illegal aliens" in the country? It's been called 14 million for years, but since the proposal was announced we somehow lost 7 million of them.
Yes! Actually, I was hearing "8 million to 12 million" 1 1/2-2 years ago, which would make it at least 9 million to 13 million by now. If we split the difference at 11 mil, and add spouses, children, siblings and parents ("family reunification"), we're talking potentially 50+ million, plus "new" family members, courtesy of the matricula consular, plus tens of millions of new illegals, inspired by the newest amnesty, and anticipating the next one. But that's not the worst of it. As one expert on illegal immigration wrote, the "guest worker" program would be open to 6 billion people -- the entire world!
That pretty much sounds like status quo, don't you think?
And to teach 3000 innocent Americans a lesson, we should have been bombed? Because we were "involved overseas"?
We are going to be involved overseas, and these towelheads better get used to it. We're in the middle of them, and they're scared to friggin' death. They either get control of their radical elements, or we'll put somebody in place who will.
Well enjoy having France set our defense policy with a President Clark.
And that's worse than having Mexico setting up our immigration policy with a President Bush?
The LP has NO spine, no gonads, and few working brain cells. No ones should give respect to a political party/those who endorse it, when those positions are more than 80% beneath contempt. But then, you don't give the Dems any kind of kudos, from you, and they DO say what they mean too; even follow through, since they have power and the LP never shall have any.
It is oh so easy, to sit back and just spew any old thing, when one knows full well, that one's chance at ever having to prove that you'd follow through with those statements is zero to none.
Look at Islam's growth amongst American blacks and Hispanics; especially those who are or haves been in prison !
Yep all we need is fortress America and all those old meanies would leave us alone.
No it wasn't, Slick! That was just one of several questions...and obviously you are not interested in details otherwise you could not even compare Clinton's abuse of power with GWB's undoing of the Clinton PDD's.
Oh, you still haven't answered the other questions...here's your reminder:
"...under whose leadership would it be MORE LIKELY to allow infiltration at the highest levels to defeat us from within...Dean, Hillary...or GWB?
Who will appoint unabashed liberal activist judges to rewrite the Constitution...Dean, Hillary, or GWB?
Who will misuse the military and surrender our sovereignty to the UN and Kofi Annan...Dean, Hillary, or GWB?
Well?
Nothing,,,,,
