Thanks for the explanation. I assume that the names of those involved are subject to change from election to election.

I love the Constitution Party, Eaglet. It's a newborn. It will grow and hopefully crush the Janus of what passes for choice in politics today. Peroutka is a good man, a very good man. IMHO he isn't yet electable.

So, one has to ask...where would his poll numbers be with a quiet left and a friendly media? Probably about where they are now. The democrats have driven moderates to the GOP so they are stuck with the 35% of the Looney left and the Looney right is where they have always been, against everyone so Bush owns about 55% of the voting populace. He is in the political "sweet spot" and I don't worry much about his OR the GOP's chances this election.

Just look for those claiming to be the "base" who have been betrayed. It is a dead givaway.

"Facts" to back up a "feeling?"
Yes, Johnny. FACTS. I have them, you don't. So you call names like a sophomore in highschool. Where are your stats to prove me wrong? Show me. You're the one operating on feelings. Texas and I are debating. His facts are good..so are mine. And your only argument is to sneer at DUers and Libertarians?
To: The_Eaglet
Good for the Constitution party. Good luck.

Obviously folks who took that "All Your Base ..." throwaway line a bit too seriously :)

I've been here since the very beginning of '98, Texas. Just different names..all above board. I only change my name when someone IDs me. Speaking of which, it's time again. So I'm not an election year shill.
To: ETERNAL WARMING
He will be. As a Republican or 3rd party?
To: ETERNAL WARMING
You nailed it.
Bush's horrible, more-of-the-same, illegal immigration "plan" has my blood boiling. All our brave soldiers' efforts in Iraq are worthless if we will not control and protect the integrity of our own country's borders.
I am fed up with all this so-called "compassion" for lawbreakers at the expense of the honest, hard-working citizens who are forced to fund the wide range of benefits (educational, medical, housing, etc.) for illegal aliens and their anchor babies. And if we complain about the mounting costs, we are oh-so-conveniently branded as racists or right-wing extremists.
We are fast becoming the destabilized, marginalized US of Brazil so-to-speak. And when we beat the drum slowly at the end, we will be using chopsticks, not drumsticks.
To: ETERNAL WARMING
I didn't accuse you of anything. Look, I don't have any hard feelings about your views of Bush. He is not a relative or anything. I don't understand some of the distaste but I sure can't change how you feel. I know how hard headed I am. lol
To: Texasforever
I don't know, though I doubt he'd try to run against Bush as a Republican. I could be wrong. I'm calling him tomorrow. Hopefully I can get some info on the way he's leaning.
To: Texasforever
If you think Gephardt is "his man," then you completely miss his point.
To: ETERNAL WARMING
I have them, you don't. Yes. A "feeling" is an opinion held by the person making the statement.
So you call names like a sophomore in highschool.
What "names" are you referring to? What have I called you personally?
Where are your stats to prove me wrong? Show me.
When did you stop beating your wife?
Texas and I are debating. His facts are good..so are mine.
So why are you "debating" then?
And your only argument is to sneer at DUers and Libertarians?
And is your only objection to my posts that fact that I AM sneering at DUers and Libertarians? Which one are you?

If you think Gephardt is "his man," then you completely miss his poin No I didn't. If anyone wants a guy that works for the "little man" Gephaart is just the ticket. That isn't an insult it is a fact.
To: ETERNAL WARMING
I only change my name when someone IDs me. What an interesting admission. Hope to see you again in your next avatar.

I just wanted you to know I'm not an infiltrator of any kind. I don't cut and run. I don't come in to troll.
Guess we're both just set in our ways and will have to agree to disagree. :0)

Well I am bowing out to get some sleep. Thanks for the comments. I'll check back later
To: Johnny_Cipher
I can assure you I am neither one of these, but I am growing fed up over his democrat style policies.
