He attacked Microsoft with more enthusiasm and more money than he did to defend against Al Quaida.Heck, Clinton couldn't even figure which corporation was screwing the American investor, how was he to decide which terrorist organization posed the largest threat?

The Democraps already told us that Bush was warned by Sandy Berger about the dangers in the ME.

Advertising?
How about saturating?
I've seen more ads for this 60 minutes thing tonite than for beer in the last two days.
Guess they think a former administration Bush basher will draw big time.

You are right. Especially this:
"I can't imagine that I'm going to be attacked for telling the truth" Who thinks this way? Even Jesus was attacked for telling the truth.

When this boob was still in office I remember seeing a picture of him standing with Bono and they were both wearing some kind of tribal outfit - and thinking to myself: who is this clown and why is he in the position he is in?

They also keep repeating the "Bush was like a blind man in a room full of deaf people," as if that quote even means anything. I'm sure it's making advocates for the blind uneasy already. He just dissed two disabled groups.

I think "Pall over the economy" O'Neill has pretty well scotched his chances for another post in any Republican administration.

Hey now...Clinton also went after the fundamentalists right after the 1993 WTC attack: The Christian fundamentalists in Waco.

O'Neill has pretty well scotched his chances for another post in any Republican administration. I can't understand why W picked him at all. From the very beginning he tried to implement policies that a Gore adminsitration would have persued.

That's pretty dang goofy allright. And we're supposed to take this schmuck seriously? And you're right, altura, they've really gone overboard on the 60 Minutes spots, like a bunch of football-watching males really care about this.

You had to read FR or Newsmax for instantce, if you wanted to hear Dick Morris' story about Hillary's anger at the "f#*king Jew bastards."
You know, if you use a Kerry tone of voice, you don't have to censor yourself.

OK. Time for a refresher.
http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1998/12/16/transcripts/clinton.html Transcript: President Clinton explains Iraq strike
Dec. 16, 1998
Other countries possess weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles. With Saddam, there is one big difference: He has used them. Not once, but repeatedly. Unleashing chemical weapons against Iranian troops during a decade-long war. Not only against soldiers, but against civilians, firing Scud missiles at the citizens of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Iran. And not only against a foreign enemy, but even against his own people, gassing Kurdish civilians in Northern Iraq.
The international community had little doubt then, and I have no doubt today, that left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will use these terrible weapons again.
....
So Iraq has abused its final chance.
Saddam's deception has defeated their effectiveness. Instead of the inspectors disarming Saddam, Saddam has disarmed the inspectors.
This situation presents a clear and present danger to the stability of the Persian Gulf and the safety of people everywhere. The international community gave Saddam one last chance to resume cooperation with the weapons inspectors. Saddam has failed to seize the chance.
And so we had to act and act now.

Yeah...I just can't recall this type of hype and promotion over those Clinton insiders who had stories to tell. Heck, Gary Aldrich was persona non grata after he came forward with his stories...or how about the state troopers who were all attacked as liars. Nah...no meida bias, here.

So what if Bush sought to remove Saddam before 911? He never said that 911 was the reason Saddam had to go.
To: jim macomber
From the very beginning, there was a conviction, that Saddam Hussein was a bad person and that he needed to go, says ONeillWas there ever any doubt?
