Would I be dating myself, or behaving like a snob - to declare there is NOTHING as reassuring as a Randall Made - Model 14....

They can still be ordered - from the factory there is more than a 3 year backlog..
To get one sooner, you have to find a dealer that has pre-ordered on speculative basis, and pay an uplift to get in the que to buy the one he has coming in!

The one I purchased for my grandson, required a 14 month wait - from a dealer that had in on order for 2 years before I called!

What is it about Randall that makes them worth a 2 year waiting list, when companies such as SOG make such fine blades with modern methods?

I carried one almost my entire career........some of my old posts to you .....I believe we have spoke of it before. It hides in the gun safe a lot these days but every once in a while I'll be showing someone some pics and they see the Randall and they want to see it..... so other than that, it get's into my ruck for hunting and 4 wheeling.......but doesn't see the work it did for me when I was active duty.

That , my M1A and the 1911A1 have never failed me.
