[history]
Howard Dean collected the influential endorsement yesterday of Sen. Tom Harkin, Iowa Democrat, as the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination sought to explain statements he made years ago criticizing Iowa's caucuses and calling President Bush a moderate.
Mr. Harkin's endorsement is one of the key prizes in a state where the caucus system relies heavily on political operations to identify and mobilize supporters.

The American Spectator's Tyrell was most kind to Dean on TV tonight. He must agree with me -
We want Dean nominated!
And defeated!

You know...Dean seems to be on somewhat of a downward skid here at the moment (they had a bunch of interview in the paper today of people who had supported him...but are now having second thought).
I REALLY hope that someone else wins. I would love to see Harkin embarrassed...the man is an absolute menace.

I agree with you completely. Tom Harkin is the lowest of low life! The good news is Iowa is going to go for GW Bush big time, no matter which Democrat is nominated! Of course, I would now like to see Dean nominated, so Harkin is shown to be the horse's ass he is! What I can't fathom is that the United States is at war with terror, yet these Democrat morons will put innocent Americans right back in harms way, the exact same way Bill and Hillary Clinton did when they left the USA unprotected, unprepared and undefended from the 911 attack. They must really have a death wish! Any American that votes Democrat must have a screw loose or just wants to meet their maker a bit early! Yea, Kofi Annan and the United Nations is going to protect us. Kofi Annan is so weak, he needs someone to show him where the bathroon is!

I sure hope you are right about Iowa voting for Pres. Bush. There is a union at my place of employment, and they will be pushing their Democrat propaganda big time from now until November. To many of my co-workers, it seems as though they've forgotten about 9/11 and the vulnerability that resulted from 8 years of Clinton neglecting our national security. So, I hope Iowa does the right thing this time around, but I've seen too much ignorance around here. I try to inform, but when they don't want to hear the truth, what do you do?

Has union member support for the "traitor/treason" Democrat Party prevented union membership from dropping over the last fifty years? There are now less unionized workers in the USA then there have ever been. Bill and Hillary Clinton did zippo for industrial or skilled union workers. If you were to remove the public service unions and the teachers, which are all useless and non-productive, the "union" vote would not matter at all. Industrial labor unions have been hosed big time by their so called Democrat supporters. The public service and teachers unions get great support from the Democrats because they are all socialists, hate America, live in the past, and have never worked an honest day in their lives! Fear not, GW Bush will whip these morons! If not, I'll meet you Saint Peter's gate, after the terrorists have a field day killing and slaughtering Americans when the future of America is turned over to the likes of Kofe Annan and the Useless Nations, which is just what the Democrat Party will do when it assumes power!
To: JLAGRAYFOX
Yeah, it's just insane trying to debate a union Dem supporter. Just try pinning them down on exactly what the Dems have done for labor and they can't come up with anything. But they're sure that the Republicans are evil. In the 2000 election, union leaders would stand out by the entrance to the plant handing out Democrat propaganda. I remember one of their "fact" sheets was railing against NAFTA. Of course, they didn't have much of a response when I threw it back in their face that it was CLINTON who supported and signed NAFTA into law. Fools the whole lot of 'em!
