LANSING, Mich. (AP) The wife of presidential candidate John Kerry will be campaigning in Michigan this weekend.
Teresa Heinz Kerry plans to visit Saginaw, Grand Rapids and Detroit. While here, she will announce the release of her husband's Agenda for Urban America.
Although the candidates themselves are campaigning mostly in Iowa and New Hampshire, the fact that voting has started through the mail and over the Internet in Michigan and that the Feb. 7 caucuses are less than a month away is making the state an important stop for campaign surrogates.
Kerry's daughter, Vanessa, and stepson, Chris Heinz, spoke Thursday in Lansing and Ann Arbor to urge Kerry supporters to vote over the Internet for the U.S. senator from Massachusetts.
Teresa Heinz Kerry will attend a Tri-Cities Town Hall meeting just before noon Saturday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Saginaw.
She then will head to Grand Rapids, where she will attend a late-afternoon reception with West Michigan Friends of Labor at Duba's Restaurant and Lounge and an evening town hall meeting with the Black and Hispanic Democratic caucuses at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church.
She plans to campaign at a number of Detroit-area churches Sunday morning, including Corinthian Baptist Church in Hamtramck; and Second Ebenezer Baptist Church, Great Faith Ministries and Greater New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, all in Detroit.
She is scheduled to tour the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Hall Sunday afternoon.

Whoa boy!! Rush should have some good sound bytes from this on Monday. Every time this woman opens her mouth something hilarious comes out.
I thought John F-ing Kerry wasn't letting her out of the house w/o a handler these days.

Gosh, I guess black folks never get tired of being taken for granted by the RATs. And where the hell are the church/state separation enthusiasts? Oh...RATs...black churches...never mind.

Couple of key words and tricky phrases jumped out here:
"Vote by mail" ????????
"Vote over the Internet" ???????? Didn't know that was legal. Anywhere.
".... campaign in churches ..."
(Thought that was illegal. Maybe only if it's it a conservative Christian church.)

As I recall, Churches taking a position on a particular candidate (i.e. anti-Clinton) resulted in the IRS revoking tax exempt status under the Clinton administration...

Churches for Lurches? I thought Kerry recently discovered he was Jewish.
So wouldn't that be Synagogues for Demagogues?

Is it me, or does Madame Ketchup bear a striking resemblance to Nancy Pelosi?

What is it, exactly, that makes left-wing women so "straight to the bone" ugly?

She's my
mother's cousin's daughter. I think that would make her my 2nd cousin.

Mrs. Heinz is NOT a nice person. She can barely disguise her contempt for those she considers beneath her.

Just cause you don't want to claim her.
