Overrated, huh?
Over 200 consecutive starts at perhaps the most demanding position in sports?
The NFL's only 3-time MVP?
3rd behind Marino and Montana in career touchdown passes?
Could possibly break Unitas' streak of consecutive game touchdown passes next season?
Led the league in touchdown passes this year at the age of 34?
May break all the QB records if he plays for the next 3-5 years?
I could go on....
Go to the Packers website and read the laundry list of QB records and statistics set by Favre. The guy is the toughest QB ever to play the game. Never been injured.
Give him another 3 years and he'll break all of Marino and Elway's records.
He routinely passes for over 3000 yds (12 straight seasons now). Has passed for over 30 touchdowns for 7 seasons. (Dan Marino is second with 4).
The guy has more records than you can shake a stick at. See my later post for the link to them
There's no way he's overrated.
