Washington Post ^

This is a quote from an interview with Dean:
"The overwhelming evidence is that there is very significant, substantial genetic component to it," Dean said in an interview Wednesday. "From a religious point of view, if God had thought homosexuality is a sin, he would not have created gay people."
The mere existence of behavior is proof that it has gods stamp of approval? Okay, now change the quote to any other type of activity. You can come up with half a dozen without leaving the main topic of Sex. How about Pedophiles for example?

UNELECTABLE. PERIOD. Even my liberal friends wanted the conservatives to save the sodomy laws and protect marriage.

How in the heck can your faith lead you to believe in something that is antithetical to what that faith teaches?
This only happens when you set yourself up a your own god.
"professing to be wise, they became fools"
Romans 1:20-25 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible manand birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Well, along those same lines, God created pedophiles then also so that should be okay and while we are at it what about beastiality (sp)? ... I have known women who are terrible affairs with men decided that lesbianism was the way to go that is not genetic. The church et al instead of trying to help people like that are just saying oh that is fine. Ugh

If God thought sadism and torture weren't sins, he wouldn't have created sadists and torturers. Is that what you're saying, Howard?

The overwhelming evidence is that there is very significant, substantial genetic component to [homosexuality] Amazing that by constant assertion the gay lobby has established as fact something that is absolutrely untrue. As a doctor Dean ought to have a better knowledge of the literature.

Jeez, what a dolt!
"The overwhelming evidence is that there is very significant, substantial genetic component to it,"
They've been lookin', but they ain't been findin'. The overwhelming evidence is that there ,b>isn't any 'very significant, substantial genetic component'.
"From a religious point of view, if God had thought homosexuality is a sin, he would not have created gay people."
Try this logic on pedophiles, zoophiles, axe murders, and Osama Bin Laden.

The apostasy of Dean is the apostasy of Robinson. He denies that the Scriptures are revelations by God.

The more homosexuality is accepted, the more of it there is. Consider ancient Greece. Genetic, eh?
