[history]
Wesley Clark has gained ground on front-runner Howard Dean in the fight for the Democratic presidential nomination, apparently the result of Mr. Dean's recent gaffes.
Mr. Clark has cut the former Vermont governor's lead among Democratic voters from 15 percentage points to four since mid-December, according to a poll released yesterday by USA Today, CNN and Gallup.

Clark pollster Geoff Garin said, "People see in [Mr. Clark] the leadership qualities they are looking for in a president." Glassy stare, geeky demeanor and vacuous ramblings?

They are still both idiots, not worthy, just like billy boy was not worthy and an idiot! Which history has born out.

"Negative opinions of (Dean) are building both nationally and among Democrats," Mr. Mellman said. "I think people are paying attention to the misstatements." No. The press is just miraculously starting to REPORT on them. Can anyone cite a positive article in the news about Doc Dean in the past 30 days? Someone's trying to raise his negatives. Now I wonder who that could be? hmmm...

I see the news media have gotten the signal from the Clintons to begin the next phase of the operation. The first was "Dump Dean". Now they move on to "Promote Clark".

Not to change the subject, but has anyone wondered how many patients the good Dr. Dean has killed?

Clark makes me nervous. I think he could do better against Bush than Dean could.
