Email/Letter writing campaign against The President's plan for immigration

Has anybody started an email/letter writing campaign in response to the president's proposed immigration initiative?
We need to show the president that he can't take advantage of his conservative base.

Good...now this is what Conservative America is about.
Will you be penning a personal not to the White House?
To: Digger
So who did you vote for in 2000?? Gore??? Remember right before the electin, Gore and Clinton made about 300,000 illegals legal and gave them all Democrat Voter cards...guess you think that was just fine.

Congressman Tancredo stated on the Michael Savage show that Karl Rove, et al. are trying to take his seat in Congress away from him. If I remember civics the House represents citizens directly. The Senate represents something "higher" and the president is elected by an "independent" electoral college.
So here we have Karl Rove, et al. attacking me, Joe Citizen, and I am a scoundrel for standing up to them for something I believe in?!
Borders, language, and culture issues are too important for me. I do not applaud President Bush, the hyphenated groups, the corrupt government of Mexico, "cheap labor" businesses, or any of Dem rats. I'll be watching how hard -- and dirty, in view of what Congressman Tancredo said -- the administration fights our representatives.
Then I'll decide about voting for Bush or None of the Above.

Please let the White House know how you feel. I have a good friend who was a military aide there under Reagan. He told me that the bad news was common (probably from a lot of the same people) but the good wasn't.
He said that many of the personal notes to the President got circulated around and made them feel like they were actually appreciated.
A short hand written not goes a long ways.

I think it's an idiotic move. Of course as a Border Patrol Agent I may be a little biased. However, after seeing child rapists and other criminals not being prosecuted I think it's understandable.

If you can't figure that out it's because you don't want to...I can't help you there.
To: CWOJackson
Yes, a personal NOT is exactly what I'll be penning to our pandering leader.

"We need to show the president that he can't take advantage of his conservative base."
He has long abandoned his conservative base and instead pandering to minorities. Hopefully conservatives will remember come 2004 and reciprocate.
No, Tom... don't count on it. Nice try though.

Good for you!
A personal note goes a long way and it also reminds the President and his people of who their base really is.

Bush is facilitating the inextricable integration of the Mexican economy with our own, which will soon bring down our sovereignty.
Is this the right thing? No, the honorable and correct thing would be to propose that Mexico become the 51st state. But neither Mexicans or Americans would vote for that. So to get what you want without following the Constitution, you just let a very large percentage of illegals in, you make sure they send their money back to Mexico in the form of remittances til the remittances are a significant portion of the GDP. That way money flows out of the US, the taxpayer and Congress cannot stop it. Then set up a federal agency like USAID, bring a multinational corporation in like Wells Fargo to make money off of the charge for sending the money out of country, and find a non-governmental organziation to act in lieu of a Constitutional government and you are well on your way to fusing the two countries without citizen knowledge or approval.
The right thing? I think not.

English as a second language, eh? So much for the whine about "border-culture-language."
