Legalized controlled immigration is with what America was built. The seive illegal immigration and border crossing currently going on is a fiasco. Who the hell is in control of immigration right now? It looks like Mexico is calling the shots.

While I agree that immigration is a fiasco right now, I'm not sure that you can classify our immigration policy over the last 200 years as legal or controlled. And then, what do we do with all of the illegal immigrants before the signing of the declaration of independence? No...wait...the indians that's right we are all illegal immigrants if we ask the indians who were here before us. My oh my, so many people, so many points of view, so few with even a drop of compassionate sweat.

?!?!?Huh?!??! I don't think the vast majority of immigrants who came here between the inception of the bill of rights and the early 1900's were really part of legalized goverment controlled immigration. Do you?!?
