I came to Alaska from Arroyo Grande, just up the coast from you. Spent a couple weeks there at Thanksgiving. It is a lot warmer.

For the next couple days we are under a wind watch.

Hi Kathy. I am just down from flying in gusty turbulent wind, only about 30 kts. Butt ugly!

Hi beachn4fun.

Good afternoon.

Lovely gown you have on.

I have a terribly busy day ahead of me working on my book so I will not be around much today.

Glad you are here to entertain our Troops.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
The FR Canteen still and always has supported USO programs.
There is a misunderstanding by some that the FR Canteen
is opposed to the USO because of the name change at their request.
To dispel this rumor one only has to click on the FR Canteen Post Office
and see the same USO links that have been in there since Nov 2001.

Will You help keep the Candle Lit for our service men and women?

Why Mr. Hawk so glad to see you today. Happy New Year to you and the missus.

Here's a little something to contemplate in your spare time (he...he....)

1) "If someone is addicted to eating Thanksgiving leftovers, can he quit cold turkey?"

2)"Did golfers in ancient Rome yell "IV" before teeing off?"

3) "If you arrest a mime, do you still have to tell him he has the right to remain silent?"

Thanks, Tonk.

Yes, it's my mother primarily who's in need of prayer. She is suffering from the advanced stages of COPD. She is on a respirator now; the doctor has been unable to wean her from it. The rest of the family needs prayer too, they are struggling with having to accept the inevitable.

I wasn't going to say anything, but events got out of hand.

Thank you again for all you do...it's a lot to keep track of, Brother!

Thank you. I just can't seem to take the gown off for long. Just long enough to go to sleep. I find that I am beginning to understand how tomkow feels about his burkas and why he doesn't want to take it off (of course, except to streak through). But, I did manage to get it off and take a bath.

I will have to go soon myself. My lunch break is almost over. Good luck on your book work today.
