The anti-Bush website Moveon.org has featured a second potential TV ad comparing President George W. Bush with Adolf Hitler.

The latest ad features images of the German military and dictator with the words "What were war crimes in 1945 is foreign policy in 2003," reports the Drudge Report. The final two frames include Hitler with his hand raised and then a shot of Bush with his hand up taking the oath of office.

As WorldNetDaily reported, Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie called on the nine Democrat presidential candidates to repudiate the first Bush-Hitler ad that was posted on Moveon.org.

That ad has since been removed from the website.

Adolf Hitler

"This is the worst and most vile form of political hate speech," said Gillespie. "These candidates have a chance to repudiate this pollution of our political process by repudiating these ads at this afternoon's debate in Iowa."

Gillespie told Fox News Sunday the Move On organization, supported by billionaire George Soros, plans to spend millions to defeat Bush this year.

Move On is sponsoring a television ad contest for the best anti-Bush spot.

"One of the ads that was submitted that they considered viable for airing – with $7 million, by the way, in funds that we don't know where it comes from, but we know they've said they'd spend $7 million to air the ad that they've settled on – one of them morphed President Bush into Adolf Hitler," explained Gillespie. "Those are the kind of tactics we're seeing on the left today in support of these Democratic presidential candidates."

The first ad shows a series of pictures of Hitler speaking in German. Text on the screen reads as follows: "We have taken new measures to protect our homeland ... I believe I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator ... God told me to strike at al-Qaida and I struck them ... and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did."

"Sound familiar?" asks the text, to the sound of cheering Germans.

In November, Soros compared Bush to Hitler in an interview with the Washington Post.

Saying he believed the White House was guided by a "supremacist ideology," Soros complained: "America, under Bush, is a danger to the world ... When I hear Bush say, 'You're either with us or against us,' it reminds me of the Germans ... My experiences under Nazi and Soviet rule have sensitized me."

Soros, a Hungarian emigre, announced before the interview was published he was donating $5 million to Move On, the organization's single biggest contribution ever.

In an editorial in the Wall Street Journal today, Jack Rosen, president of the American Jewish Congress, decried the comparison between Bush and Hitler:

"Comparing the commander in chief of a democratic nation to the murderous tyrant Hitler is not only historically specious, it is morally outrageous. Comparing an American president, any American president, to Hitler is an outrage. The MoveOn.org ad was inexcusable. Political figures such as Al Gore, who have associated themselves with Moveon.org, have a special responsibility to condemn these ads; donors to the group such as George Soros have the same responsibility. They owe it not just to the memory of the millions who died in the Holocaust. They owe it also as a simple matter of decency."

The Left is hitting Jews, one of their staunchest supporters. Apparently, they calculate they won't leave cause they will put up with just about anything. For once they may have pushed too far.

Freepers should attend a Dean rally. Bring up the topic about the Iraqi War, expouse that it is a war supported and lobbied by Israel and US oil companies, and one Dean follower will engage with you in conversation. State that Israel and US is problem in Middle East, and Jews in America have disproportionate amounts of influence in the government and they are the ones pushing for the Iraqi War. Chances are that the Dean supporter will agree and add a few cents into your viewpoint. If a freeper can video that complete conversation with a small video capable cellphone, it would be an excellent counter commercial to the Dems Hitler Commercial. Such a video would be gold for the RNC.

ADS ATTACKED BY RNC CHAIRMAN
ARE NOT MOVEON.ORG VOTER FUND ADS
MoveOn.org Voter Fund Regrets Screening Process Allowed Ads to Slip Through

Statement by Wes Boyd, Founder of MoveOn.org Voter Fund:

The Republican National Committee and its chairman have falsely accused MoveOn.org of sponsoring ads on its website which compare President Bush to Adolf Hitler. The claim is deliberately and maliciously misleading.

During December the MoveOn.org Voter Fund invited members of the public to submit ads that purported to tell the truth about the President and his policies. More than 1,500 submissions from ordinary Americans came in and were posted on a web site, bushin30seconds.org, for the public to review.

None of these was our ad, nor did their appearance constitute endorsement or sponsorship by MoveOn.org Voter Fund. They will not appear on TV. We do not support the sentiment expressed in the two Hitler submissions. They were voted down by our members and the public, who reviewed the ads and submitted nearly 3 million critiques in the process of choosing the 15 finalist entries.

We agree that the two ads in question were in poor taste and deeply regret that they slipped through our screening process. In the future, if we publish or broadcast raw material, we will create a more effective filtering system.

Contrast this with the behavior of the RNC and its allies when supporters of President Bush used TV ads morphing the face of Sen. Max Cleland (D-GA) into that of Osama Bin Laden during the 2002 Senate race.

MoveOn.org and the MoveOn.org Voter Fund exist to bring the public into the political process and produce a more fact-based election process. We regret that the RNC doesn’t seem to embrace the same goals.

The MoveOn family of organizations consists of three entities. MoveOn.org, a 501(c)(4) organization, primarily focuses on education and advocacy on important national issues. MoveOn.org PAC, a federal PAC, primarily helps members elect candidates who reflect our values. And MoveOn.org Voter Fund, a 527 organization, primarily runs ads exposing President Bush's failed policies in key "battleground" states.

This is totally NUTZ! The post above says they didn't sponsor the ads, but then they say they asked for the ads...what am I missing here??? How stupid do they think we are?

Moveon.org is turning into a slush fund for the DNC...sounds like the FEC should be contacted...
