Free Republic did have permission to use the USO Canteen FReeper Style name.

Are you SURE about that Tonk? Just because someone SAID permission was given doesn't always make it so. Consider the source. Some people tell LIES! What a shocker!!!

It is an election year and there have always been those opposed to President Bush in the Canteen. Now those same people will dislike the Canteen even more.

Still seeing conspiracies everywhere, huh? Pity.
