[history]
MoveOn.org, an advocacy group, has sought to energize opposition to the president by sponsoring a contest in which Americans were urged to produce an anti-Bush advertisement to air the week of the State of the Union address. Web site visitors were invited to vote for their favorite ad from a pre-selected group that MoveOn.org deems appropriate for TV. MoveOn.org informed potential ad makers that "we're not going to post anything that would be inappropriate for television." Two of the ads posted on the group's Web site compared Adolf Hitler to George W. Bush. One ad morphed an image of Hitler into President Bush and says that, "1945's war crimes" are "2003's foreign policy."

Now they have resorted to the same lying rhetoric and bald face lies and total paranoia they've accused the "extreme right" all these years. Same as it ever was. The Democrats have always "projected" when it came to accusing the right of negative politics.
The lying liars in the Democrat party believe that accusing their opponents of this tactic will throw the scent off their own trail.
Was it last year that Democrats.com had a web cartoon ad of President Bush pushing old people off a cliff in wheelchairs? (I'm serious).

Yeah...I remember the wheelchair cartoon...and it was run on the DNC's official website. The Democrats are an angry, bitter group of people. Since the 1998 Missouri ads, that claimed "a vote for a Republican is a vote for another black church burning...brother being gunned down...etc,etc," the Democrats have only gotten more extreme. In 2000 it was the James Byrd ad, infering that Bush had something to do with the dragging death of this poor black man. And then, there's Ed Asner and his phone calls to seniors, telling them that Republicans will cancel their Social Security if the Democrats lose.
You'd think with the amount of power these people have lost over the last decade, they'd realize that American's don't want this bitter divide. Instead, every year the ads only get more libelous and viscious, culminating in this years Bush/Hitler comparison. Let 'em run the ad...they are only marginalizing themselves.

Im outraged and astonished at what I hear the Liberals in American, specifically those supporting Moveon.org, have now done to slander our President and to further incite our enemies against us.
Moveon.orgs sponsoring of the video clips that include President Bush morphing into the mass-murdering, psychopathic dictator, Hitler, go light years beyond freedom of expression. They are inciting our enemies, Islamist extremists, to fight against our nation by portraying our President as the arch-evil leader.
These Moveon extremists are endangering our country, our troops, our leaders and way of life with such irresponsible, despicable lies in vivid graphics. And they are insulting the millions of men and women who fought and sacrifices to defeat the real Hitler and his evil plans for the world. Of course the greatest insult is to the millions of innocent Jews and those who resisted Hitlers evil, who this real monster murdered.
High profile Democrats, like Al Gore, the Clintons, James Carville, billionaire George Soros and the other Leftists who support this organization, have given their blessings and truckloads of money to this para-political party organization, apparently willing to do and say anything it takes to defeat President George W. Bush in the coming election. They are even willing to endanger our countrys security with their twisted thinking.
I think that in any other time, such as during WWII, such slanderous things published about our Commander-in-Chief would earned being charged with sedition. Sedition - Incitement of resistance against lawful authority. I think that the same applies today. Supporters of Moveon.org need to be held accountable, discredited and prosecuted for their criminal acts.

Thank you Margaret. You should have put quotes around your whole post, or, rather excerpt, from the "apology" letter from moveon.org.
This "apology" reminded me of when my children used to squabble as toddlers. So and so did something inappropriate, so I did too.
Where were the words of the outrage from the owners of moveon.org, that NO president of the United States' name, should EVER be uttered in the same breath as Hitler. You may disagree with a President on matters of policy, but this type of character assassination is intolerable. It is hate speech, it is heinous, and it has been going on since before the election of 2000. ENOUGH.
I would agree with you, that there is no place in American politics for this kind of shameful and disgusting rhetoric.

You sign up just to apologize for MoveOn?
If they're so squared away, why do you need to come here and apologize for them?

You logic defending what people supporting "moveon.org" allowed to be published at a site they support is juvenile at best. You must be no more than a mushy headed Liberal like the ones who support this pathetic organization. You better wake up and realize the U.S. and the civilized world is in a war for our very survival and stop with you obsession with destructive behavior. This is NOT a political game.
No comparable official RNC or other Republican organization has or should ever make such an outrageous and dangerous comparison of a sitting President in the midst of a war against terrorist who already think of us and our leaders as the great Satan!
Your hollow rebuke of this destructive visual ad being "inappropriate" is about as bad as that video. The author and distributors of this blatantly false, slanderous "ad" making such comparisons to the leader of the free world with one of the 3 most evil, murderous dictators of the past millennia is no less than dangerous to the people of our country and worthy of only distain, discredit and charges of Sedition. Had this happened in WWII and been directed at FDR, there is no question the author would have been arrested and changed with such.
"Margaret320" You and your fellow Liberals have earned my contempt and that of millions, now and for all time!
