Holy smoke - this guy missed his calling. This is brilliant stuff. I'd pay to read this on a regular basis.

Awesome analysis by the ZellMan. And he despises Terry McAwful. What's not to like?

Can you imagine Rev. Jackson poking fun at himself? Can you imagine him on "Saturday Night Live" belting out James Brown's "I Feel Good" with a few cool moves?Maybe Jackson didn't sing on SNL, but when he read Green Eggs and Ham on SNL that was one of the funniest things I had heard in a long time.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
Point of information: Jesse Jackson did, in fact, host Saturday Night Live, in 1984He did a rendition of Suess's "Green Eggs and Ham" in that stilted, sing-song doggeral style Jackson perfected. It was actually very funny.

Zell sure has a talent for writing.

If there is a second Dubya administration (and I think there will be, though a disturbing amount of complacency has emerged on this board and among conservatives and Republicans at large), Zell should be a cabinet member.

As I would, too! I like the way he writes. And, he sees Terry McA for what he is, a muck-up scumball!

I remember seeing that episode of SNL. I remember seeing most of them since they are replayed all the time. I'm still waiting to see
that one again, or some of the ones with Guliani, or Nader, or Donald Sutherland for that matter
It'd be great to see those again. I don't like what they've done lately except for Darrel Hammond imitating Chris Matthews. Will Farrell was almost as good at GWB, as Darrel Hammond was as Clinton and Gore. And as Phil Hartman was as Reagan.

Zell Miller is the only Democrat who could potentially beat Bush in Georgia in 2004. Ditto for John Breaux in LA.
The Democrats have to find a Pres/VP ticket that can flip 18 or more electoral votes from Bush's 2000 states in order to win in 2004.
So until their ticket has been selected and entered into the FEC register permanently, lets be careful just who we throw accolades to.
Because if the Democrats suddenly get clever on us, Breaux or Miller will be their VP pick in 2004, and suddenly the whole election becomes "in play" if Bush can't guarantee his same 2000 base states again in 2004.
Not that I'm expecting the Dems to get clever, mind you, but the lock that we have on winning in 2004 would be much less of a sure thing if Zell Miller or John Breaux got picked to be VP, and there hasn't been nearly enough feel-good, self-righteous mud thrown at those two by the leftist press to satisfy me that they aren't being considered right now.
