US relief package for illegal immigrants to be unveiled Wednesday

US President George W Bush is expected to unveil some protection and relief to an estimated eight million illegal immigrants or undocumented workers in the US.
Officials said that the Bush plan to be unveiled on Wednesday would contain a new system to help workers who want to enter from Mexico or other countries if they have jobs waiting for them in the US.
It would also include a mechanism for some undocumented residents to continue working in the US and get on a path to legal status.
Undocumented workers now pay billions of dollars annually into Social Security but do not collect benefits because they give their employers fraudulent Social Security numbers.
The Bush plan would propose protections for the Social Security taxes paid by the workers.

Hmmm....a NEW *spin* in the word amnesty......."mechanism"

So HOW do we verify which *lawbreakers* used which *fraudulent* SS numbers ??? Looks like taxpayers will now 'foot the bills' for some agency (?) to fairly distribute BILLIONS to these lawbreakers.

From now on I shall send all my bills to the Mexican government. If I have to pay Mexicans' bills, then they should pay mine.

They don't need protection and relief. We do. You got that right. In spades.

George Bush took an oath to a Constitution that exists by the people of the United States: citizens, not invading criminals. Well said.
Can't wait to see how the Bush-bots will spin this one. When Bush does something that's unRepublican, unconservative, etc, a standard Bush-bots reply is "He's protecting us from terrorism". That excuse obviously doesn't apply here.
Does your oath mean nothing, Mr. Bush? Does the constitution mean nothing? What about your party affiliation - how is this at all Republican? Or is this more "stealing Democrat issues" that I read so many FReepers talking about?
Do you wish to give our country away to those who break our laws? Wait - don't answer. I'd rather pretend there is still hope.

A similiar thread on this topic just got kicked into the backroom, a heated discussion they said.>>>>>>
Maybe we should NOT reply to the *usual suspects* that come to the illegal immigration threads with their same silly arguments ("illegals same as jaywalkers, etc").
Could be their motive is to have the illegal immigration threads moved to the back room........

What is wrong with Bush? A new system/scam to help more people to enter from Mexico, when there are already about 10 million illegals in country?
Utter lunacy.

Not only does he plan to reward those who have and are breaking our laws currently, he plans to open the borders to still more foreign nationals to curcumvent current law by proposing exansion of entry into this nation. I wonder if he plans on offering "amnesty" to those Americans who are rotting in jail for minor tax or victimless gun crimes?

There are several banks that are behind this seemingly inexplicable move by President Bush. They are Wells Fargo, CitiBank and Bank of America. They see a huge market with illegals opening bank accounts while they are here (using the phony matricular consular for identification of course) getting home loans, and using these banks for wiring money to mexico. And why wouldn't they be?
The gov't will give the illegals money to buy houses, and the banks will get part of this.

American's out of work are going to love this. This plan eliminates American borders completely. All jobs are up for grabs, immigration free for all. Social security benefits the icing on the cake for non Ameicans. This county is going down, only a matter of time.

If he does this, I'm sitting out the election.
