Posted on 01/04/2004 8:00:16 AM PST by nwrep

Fineman: If the military would get Osama bin Laden in its sights, do you think that they should kill him on sight?

I think that is not my call. I'm not going to get into that.

.......

Fineman:Do you see Jesus Christ as the son of God and believe in him as the route to salvation and eternal life?

I certainly see him as the son of God. I think whether I'm saved or not is not gonna be up to me.

Maybe I should run for Prez.

Cuz, when I'm at the office and someone comes around with a camera, I'll always pick up the phone and pretend to be working - just like this character:

Dean feels like Job? Does he feel like him before or after Job lost his family & his wealth & property?

I certainly see him as the son of God. I think whether I'm saved or not is not gonna be up to me.

that's sort of an oxymoron, isn't it? Why would Jesus be credible as the Son of God, and not the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, when He testified that He is both?

See how people measure others by their own standards? Howard Dean thinks that Jesus told the crowds what they wanted to hear, what He needed to say in order to get what He wanted. He thinks that Jesus told some people that He is the Son of God, and others, that His blood is shed for the remissions of sins...

Howard Dean apparently thinks that Jesus is a deluded storyteller like he is. Deny Christ -----> Lose your grip. It's axiomatic.

But you have to give credit to Fineman for even asking this theological question. Sounds like he has been reading these threads.

Q: Howard, how many cojones do you have? Do you have any at all? Aren't you really just an emasculated girly-man?

A:"I think that is not my call. I'm not going to get into that."

He just confessed that he is not a Christian.

A point that most people will miss. People think that if you insist that Jesus is the savior, that you are rigid, extreme, and the ultimate leper: fundamentalist. To them, Dean is just 'christian' enough to be 'spiritually relevant.'

A man who wants the top job and can't make a call!?

I'm not running but I'd love to pull the trigger.

This guy sounds like Bill Clinton's "mini-me"!!

As a candidate for the role of Commander In Chief, it is his call.

Followup to myself:

I do not understand his thinking process.

He "doesn't suffer fools" (according to his flaks), and he has an unenviable hot temper.

But on the topic of a terrorist mass murderer of 3,000+ people, "it's not my call."!?!

Dean doesn't compute.

dean certainly has a firm understanding of what a Christian is. His foreign policy and economic policy must be equally as concrete in his mind. I'd say he's just the man for the dems. Firm in his convictions, sure of his destiny, and clear in his objectives. Bwhahahaha.

Onward, Christian Dior soldier.
