Enough of "badinage"...what I want to know is, is there any truth to this story?

Reason I'm asking is, it's a perfectly ostensible idea...I've already received an e-mail about this article, but the "double entendres" (i.e., "Dr. Beaver") make this particular story (and source...the "Mirror") very suspect...

Following my own suspicions, I also want to know if (1) some folks "near and dear" have been taken in by this story or (2) someone hack-mailed me the e-mail about it.
