But, but, but its a religion of peace! Surely peaceful adherents to a faith would NEVER hide weapons that could kill or maim in a house of worship, would they? /sarcasm

Please read History at to how countries were really taken over. For one thing few men can be left, the women taken over, often sold off as the children were. Americans do not have the mind for it but for the few war lovers. We lost that will with the Indians and maybe the a-bomb being dropped. Or so I think.

I bet there's some serious pucker factor among those with arsenals in mosques, who thought they were safe using them as a hiding place. Both there and here, one would hope.

Good start.

Hundreds of Sunni
worshippers terrorists gathered at the al-Tabool mosque in a rage-filled protest yesterday.
I'm glad we gave them something to protest.

""American soldiers entered the mosque with their shoes on and with machine guns in their hands," said the imam..."
Whine, whine, whine! At least they didn't step on the prayer rug.

Yep, I noticed a personal drop in my take-over-a-new-country excitement level after the 12th Indian or so... and when we took over Japan, it just felt kinda "Ho-hum, why bother anymore..." It also got quite tedious constantly selling off those children when we took over yet another new country... Perhaps we should just outsource that to India along with all of our Customer Service Departments? While I lost my "mind for it" with regard to colonizing the world, you state that there are some American "war-lovers" who would still enjoy this...
P.S. to new FR member sawyer - take your Hate-America revisionist-history garbage to another forum...

Hundreds of Sunni worshippers gathered at the al-Tabool mosque in a rage-filled protest yesterday. These people have a hard time understanding that keeping weapons in a place of worship is a contradiction? Then it should be explained to them that the concept is no longer acceptable.
In a perfect world, going into that particular mosque with shoes on, and trampling on the koran would never again be an issue.

It is odd, though, that so many losers end up here, legally or otherwise, and immediately learn everything there is to know about our Indians, and A-bombs and at the same time enjoy a perfectly total ignorance of our Constitution, and the principles that have ruled us for 225+ years.

English as a second language? I believe sawyer is probably pulling your leg with that one. She claims she grew up in a "GOP household" and is worried about the direction of her party, poor baby... another claim she made was that she had family that worked for the FBI. I didn't even bother to go back very far, just a brief review of her posts shows consistent anti-American leftie garbage.

once they started storing weapons in it, it was no longer a mosque, it's an armory.
once they started meeting and planning their activities there, it became headquarters.
if they carry those weapons when inside, and/or if they fire from within or intend to do so when confronted, then its a fort.

You may be right I voted for Ike. Every one I know voted for Ike and this is not the same party. It has gone right and we have not. Read the platform from then to now and it is not the same party. The people I know seem to be more for no govt. less laws, cut down the war stuff. Maybe I would like Choate as he thought that way, didn't he? I think I have been at loose ends since Nixon who I also voted for.It is like I believe in the Capitalist system but I do not want anyone like Enron running the water works in town. I trust the people over that type big business. It is a mixed bag of thinking for this day and age.

IF weapons are found, the mosque should be leveled.
If it was good enough for the Branch Davidians, its good enough for the Islamists.

I love America and my family have been here since the 1600's but it can always be better. We came here to make our lives better and I hope we will always keep at it. I have lived in other countries and I would not leave this country for anything. It is my home and pretty good living and it could be better. Things can always be better. Change is one thing you can plan on.

If you think the GOP has gone too far to the right but you "have not", then you are not going to enjoy this forum unless your intention in coming here was to cause trouble. This site is for right-wingers, many consider the GOP to be too far to the left for their tastes. You are not going to find any friends here that think the GOP is too conservative.
If you were distressed about Enron, then I do hope you didn't vote for Clinton? It was his selling favors to Enron that helped them get so large and powerful on such a flimsy foundation. Bush got into office and wouldn't do them political favors... THAT is what caused Enron to collapse.
