[history]
After separating from the pack with claims to be the only Democratic presidential candidate to give Howard Dean a run for his money, Wesley Clark is mapping his final sprint to become the Democrats' alternative to Mr. Dean.
"It's now clear that I'm one of only two candidates in a position to win the nomination," Mr. Clark, a retired general, said in a statement issued Thursday. "And I'm the only candidate positioned to actually win the election because I am the candidate best able to stand up to George W. Bush and win the debate about who will best be able to make our country secure over the next four years."

Interesting. We haven't really heard from Clark much to this point.

That depends on which Wesley shows up at the debates, the liar, or the prevaricator. Oh, wait....

Clark's "electability" argument falls flat. The latest CNN/Time poll shows, surprisingly to me anyway, that Dean fares best against Bush. Better than Gephardt, Lieberman, Kerry, and yes Clark.

I know a committed Dean supporter, a woman who is taking her vacation in Iowa to work for the Dean campaign. She's a total round-the-bend leftist and there is absolutely no way she could shift her support to Clark.
If Clark wins the nomination, Dean will run on a 3rd party ticket. I'm sure of it.

Not bad. Could we do one with Dean on a ski slope saying "I got out of Vietnam with a back condition. It's called 'spinelessness'."

Dean's already threatening that if he doesn't get the nomination his supporters will form a third party. Bring it on! He's a real piece of work. Nobody's supposed to criticize him. Nobody's supposed to hold him accountable for what he says. I've known two year-old's with more sense and self control.

Dumb and Dumber! Clark or Dean? There is no difference. They are both traitors and losers!
