Stealth Aircraft - Rose Bowl - Flyby Photo

Yesterday there was mention that several US Air Force Stealth Aircraft were going to overfly the Rose Bowl.

Today I searched for photos of this event, finding several.

HOWEVER, in my humble opinion (grin ;-) I think the below photo is the best of the few I found of the stealth overfly event.

In 2000 during the large flotilla of "tall ships" in New York harbor they had one buzz the harbor. As you know, one cannot get a notion of these marvels unless one see them in person. It flew right above me. What a machine!

That was my first thought as well. The front end looks like an FA-18 but the large elevons look like those on an F-15.

Look at the low angle of the elevons, the F-15 has them at about 90 degrees.
