Dec. 2, 2003 -- SEN. HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON COMES TO ST. LOUIS

It is no longer a secret that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) would much rather have Nancy Farmer as a colleague in the United States Senate than Kit Bond. So she is coming to lend a hand to help Nancy Farmer achieve that goal.

Sen. Clinton will host a $1,000-a-plate brunch on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004 at the Starlight Roof of the Chase Park Plaza, 212 North Kingshighway Blvd. in St. Louis. More details of the event will be publicized as they are finalized.

Sen. Clinton’s support of Nancy Farmer’s campaign is a clear indication that the Senate race is on the national radar and that prominent people and major national organizations in Washington D.C. support Nancy Farmer.

“I am thrilled that Sen. Clinton is not only supporting me, but actively getting involved in helping with the campaign,” said Farmer. “And I am elated at the support I have received from others in Washington as well.”

Among other national groups and individuals who are backing Nancy Farmer are EMILY’s List, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, the Women’s Campaign Fund, the National Women’s Political Caucus as well as Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle of South Dakota and Senators Jon Corzine of New Jersey and Debbie Stabenow of Michigan.

Besides the Jan. 3 fundraiser, Nancy Farmer has two other events schedule for December. On Thursday, Dec. 4, Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and former Sen. Jean Carnahan will co-host a fundraiser at the Arabia Steamboat Museum in the Historic City Market in Kansas City. And on Wednesday, Dec. 10, former Senators Tom Eagleton and Jean Carnahan will co-host a fundraiser at the newly renovated Coronado Ballroom at 3701 Lindell Boulevard in St. Louis.

Those interested in attending any of the fundraising events should contact Amie Kershner at the campaign headquarters in St. Louis at 314-645-8103.

<<Hillary Rodman Clinton. I always wondered -- is she related to Dennis Rodman?<<

I've always wondered if she's related to Ernest Roehm...

"After she leaves"???

Can't we all chip in and ensure she stays there?

Sorry, Missouri, but we must localize this cancer somewhere!

Isn't is wonderful for the people of New York to pay for her campain for President? Just think how much it cost to fly to Iraq so she could cut in line for a free turkey dinner or to fly all over the country raising money for the democratic party.

And here the NY'kers thought they were hiring her to work for a living. Silly people.

As one who lives down-wind from St. Louis -

HER EVILNESS IS NOT STAYING HERE!!!!

Sorry, NY. I love you guys, but you have to take her back. Some of you voted for her.

How many Missouri freepers replied? Much less St Louis group. It's getting difficult to communicate with each other lately in Freep land?

No new state message flagged anymore when signing in?? Just a Freeper who found other grounds!!

Mrs. Clinton's book "Living History" has been in our local library for some time now. And all it's doing is sitting on the shelf - I keep checking and not a soul has checked it out. I'm in upstate New York - Republican country on the whole. As a donating member of the library I'm going to ask why we don't see Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, etc. instead of a book no patrons, obviously, want to read.

Any time I go to a bookstore, or Sams, or Target etc., I turn her books upside down. It makes for a good display....

She could stay at Dickie Gepfart's house.
