A crime victime, or a woman looking to make headlines? Obviously there's no way to know at this time. But one thing is clear, the starting QB of a bowl team shouldn't be out at 3:30 AM the day before the game.

The real question is: What is his position on abortion? If he supports abortion, then the alleged behavior is excusable. Just ask Bill Clinton.

Just as a sports fan, I'm disappointed. K State put on a fabulous performance against Oklahoma, and I was looking forward to an entertaining game. This puts a pall on things.

What is a "nice" woman doing out at a player's hotel after midnight? Women predators abound but they have something we men don't, PC acting law enforcement and the PC attitude that men are always at fault.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
A collection of media members covering both teams ventured to the K-State team hotel early this evening seeking an update on Roberson's status, but were turned away and escorted from the grounds by hotel security. Sounds like K-State needs to fire its PR director, if that is how they handle a crisis.

Lawrence Phillips wannabee. All the best thugs hail from Huskerland. Just ask ESPN and Sports Illustrated.

Sad. Bad for everyone. Bad for the game. Hope it's not true.

It's an Ohio State fan web site. Ohio State = Buckeyes. So presumably Bucknuts are people who go "nuts" over the buckeyes.

Warner said Roberson told police that he has consensual sex with the alleged victim. The room involved was neither that of Roberson nor the woman. Ewwwww, who's room was it?

Kobe let Roberson borrow his room.

Yeah, that and the fact that a Buckeye is a nut.
Anyway, this situation is a shame for all concerned.
I've been on several sports message boards since this story broke. The consensus seems to be that this young woman is "making this story up". For the life of me, I don't know why a woman would do this knowing she's going to be slammed by the fans and the media (ala Kobots).

Sounds like K-State needs to fire its PR director, if that is how they handle a crisis.Good point. We (Ohio State) took our hits this season with Clarett's antics. I will say that Andy Geiger (our AD) handled the situation in an upfront manner, and held several press conferences to keep the media informed. We all know how the media is, and if they can't have their nose stuck in every little detail, they'll hang you out to dry.

and if they can't have their nose stuck in every little detail,Unless the story is about Democratic corruption, abuse of power or perfidy. Then the media's noses are vigorously sniffing elsewhere.
