Anybody else have problems getting to FreeRepublic?

Tried getting to FreeRepublic via URL "http://freerepublic.com" and got message "The file / cannot be found". I thought there was a Web site problem that was being fixed.

When I typed in "http://freerepublic.com/index.htm" I got in OK. Anybody else have that problem?

Thank you for the quick link. Where should I store it? FR's latest comments' page is my home page. I haven't encountered any difficulties with it opening, although I've gotten a "servor error" notice a time or three in the past 36 hours.

I use my favorites list to get in. Keeps me from having to remember and understand all of that Ht//pt:;wwII stuff.

I couldn't get to the home page with netscape.
I could with IE.

I brought up a saved thread and got to the "latest articles" list from there and here I am, with netscape.

I've been having a problem when I hit the "HOME" button on my browser. (Of course FR is my home page) If I type in freerepublic.com I don't have a problem, and once I'm in I can refresh and navigate fine.
