He used to sing
Raggy music to the cattle as he'd swing
Back and forward in the saddle on his horse
To the synchopated rhythm and there's such a funny metre
To the roar of his repeater
How they'd run
When they'd see that outlaw's gun
Because the western folks all know
He's a high falutin
Rootin tootin
Son of a gun from Arizona
Ragtime cowboy
Talk about your cowboy
Ragtime cowboy, Joe.

I have read Chief Wiggles for almost a year. I check it at least twice weekly. He has done more as an individual in Iraq than any other person could have possibly done.
The reason he has been so successful is that he is a true Christian in every way. His deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ allows him to truly love everyone, regardless of race, religion, sex or politics.
Because of this true Christian faith, he has great confidence that his mission in life, unlike many Christians, is not to force people into becoming Christians, but to love them just as they are and try to help ease their pain and make their lives better.
However this comes second to his love for America and his deep abiding belief in freedom, liberty and the rule of law.
He uses love to get the truth from people that have not felt unconditional love - ever. His personal ethics which includes - never lying - always treating people with respect, has earned him the respect of all Iraqis that he has come into contact with.
Even those Iraqis who have less than honorable intentions when they meet with Chief Wiggles, leave knowing that he is a man of integrity, honesty, and strength. They are quite bewildered when because of his compassion and respectful treatment, they think he will be a push-over and believe anything, that he quickly peels away their deception and lies and either shows them the door, or gets nformation from them.
I hope this thread doesn't become a Mormon bashing thread. If all Christians would treat each other with respect and compassion, instead of always trying to prove that their denomination is right by bashing all other denominations, it would be a far better world to live in.

Ragtime has been the most faithful in getting out the good news. We all owe her a debt of gratitude. I know that she has lifted my spirits every single day.

Chief is a hero, and he would give all credit to God.
His blog, his daily faithful observations about Iraq, validated both the reports from CENTCOM ~ the daily security and humanitarian reports (successes ignored by the mainstream press), and the letters from our troops ~ who wondered why we didn't hear about all the good work they were doing, especially those first crucial weeks after the embeds left...when less courageous world leaders found an excuse in the unbalanced, negative press accounts to pull promised support for our war efforts ~ in both $$$ and troops, further endangering the lives of our awesome American volunteers in Iraq.

My first New Year's resolution: never have a third glass of champagne before e-mailing.
