It’s the start of a New Year, and with that I’d like to give you all my New Year’s Resolutions with respect to Free Republic. Are there any New Year’s Resolutions you’d like to make for the benefit of FR? Some examples that come to mind are, fewer personal attacks. Debate the message, don’t personally attack the poster. Maybe your resolution will be to post fewer vanities, or to post vanities to chat. Another resolution might be to search prior to posting threads. Whatever you might strive to do for Free Republic, let us know. Maybe you’d like to make amends with a certain poster. Give it a shot.
My personal New Year's Resolution to Free Republic:
I’d like to be better at answering your questions via mail and pings. We do get busy, and sometimes your questions get lost in the sheer volume. So, I’ll resolve to try better to answer your inquiries. If you don’t get an answer in a day or two, please ask again.
Happy New Year, Free Republic! It’s going to be a fun year!

I resolve to continue checking Free Republic several times a day because it is still the best news source available in ANY medium.
I further resolve to stop reading the comments to articles, because I'm soooo sick of reading the 'hugh' 'series' 'Daschle is saddened' garbage that seem to soil virtually EVERY thread.

Oh, dear... I hope the edit doesn't mean that the ping list idea got zotted, or was declared closed. I resolve to spend less time on email catch-up after work, so I can catch the Moderator threads before any such rash offers are withdrawn!
If the concept lives, please, oh please, add me to the AM and Zot lists, if both become part of our new year.
