My husband bought me the South Beach Diet book because I was complaining about not having orange juice on Atkins.

I read the first two chapters, and pitched it, because he misinterpreted the Atkins as all protein, no carbs.

Plus, he spent a lot of time talking about how we shouldn't eat red meat too much.

I am going on the Carbohydrate Addicts Diet next week, which is Atkins induction two times a day, and eat whatever you want at dinner, as long as you eat within an hour. I lost weight on this one before, lost weight on Atkins, and think this is the best solution for me.

Explain that diet routine again. Eat every hour and lose weight?...sounds like something I could do.

Just as long as I don't have to give up bacon and eggs for breakfast.

I went on the Carbo Addicts Diet a few years ago & it is great. I am on my own version of low carb diet now & it is working too. I think one reason these diet work, at least for me, is because eating plenty of protein keeps you satisfied longer. When you are satisfied longer you end up eating less food & your stomach shrinks. I am full after eating half the amounts that I used to eat.
