I agree with you,,democrats care more for power than they care for this country. They are treasonous in my mind. What Hill did in Iraq was treason. I thought you assumed that the people in power in this country were doing their best?
What a curious turn of events...
To: Friend of thunder
Well, if they want to land here I guess they have to comply. Wonder what Israel requires of foreign airplanes who land there.

What Hill did in Iraq was treason.Agreed. I hear some pundits say that Hillary is now more of a hawk. (barf) To get to the truth, all they have to do is view Hillary's half-hearted clapping at Pres Bush's post-9/11 address to the congress.

Perhaps you were questioning whether intelligent discussion could be found on other conservative boards?"Says who" is a bit difficult to read and divine the question in your post.

That motives knife cuts both ways. I didn't see any Democrat question Clinton's little warring conflicts he went ahead without Congressional approval.

And Ford pardoned Nixon. The country is in two such embittered camps that I am not surprised. I would not want to have to sit thru a prosecution of the Clintons. I understand wanting one, they deserve it.

I have requested that you not post to me. What part of that do you not understand? First, this is the first I've seen of this request. You alluded to the fact that we've argued before (I sure don't remember this, and a google search yields no results), but certainly didn't request I stop posting to you prior to this point.
Second, if you expect that you can come here and post in a public forum, and not have your posts rebutted, perhaps you are under a mistaken impression. My posts to you have been respectful at all times and have remained on-topic; that is, they've posed questions or rebutted assertions made in your previous posts. If that poses a problem for you, perhaps a private forum would be more to your enjoyment.
To: NittanyLion
There was a time when a thread such as this one would be filled with intelligent debate, but I'm afraid finding substantive conversations on this forum is a difficult task anymore.
As Gandhi said, why don't you BE the change you wish to see?

That motives knife cuts both ways. I didn't see any Democrat question Clinton's little warring conflicts he went ahead without Congressional approval. A silence for which the Democrats were [rightly] lambasted. There's a double standard in play here that really bothers me. The Democrats can do no right, while the GOP can do no wrong. It's foolishly simplistic to hold such a view. Better that we study each policy of our government - regardless of which party promotes it - and decide for ourselves whether this is the governance we want.
After all, the folks in DC work for us...

Agreed. I hear some pundits say that Hillary is now more of a hawk. (barf) To get to the truth, all they have to do is view Hillary's half-hearted clapping at Pres Bush's post-9/11 address to the congress.Did you see her rolling her eyes too? That did it for me.
To: lonevoice
Maybe it's harder now for them to finance or implement new strategies. That could be so, and it appears to be so.
Do foreign airliners have the cockpits secured as ours are now required to be?

As Gandhi said, why don't you BE the change you wish to see? That's sound advice. I certainly make that effort as much as possible, particularly when it comes to discussing new policy (CFR, Prescription Drug Benefit, WOT, etc.)...
To: NittanyLion
If the right thing to do is to turn control over to the UN, and make nice with the ones who want to kill all of us off, then by all means, applaud and hug every Democrat you encounter.

IT could be too that the department of Homeland Security and the administration has closed any other avenues they might have had.
But lets be honest, if these people were so bright, they would not be obsessed with our destruction.
They would be busy developing indoor plumbing for themselves. ( paraphrased from Ann Coulter article)
