Fact of the matter is that I disagree with 99% of Democrats' statements. I disagree with [say] 30% of Republicans' statements. And I make it a habit to call each party on it when I disagree. I wish all Democrats and Republicans would do the same for their respective party; the nation might be in better shape if they did.
