[history]
Elizabeth Corrie would see her younger cousin every summer at the family vacation spot on Minnesota's Cedar Lake.
Elizabeth, a Midlothian High School alumna who teaches at a private school in Atlanta, was born nearly a decade earlier than Rachel. But they shared a similar sense of humor, a yearning for social justice and a desire to make a difference.

""To be fair," Elizabeth said, "the State Department has been enormously helpful "
I am not surprised.

"I wonder what Rachel would think?" There needs to be the word "if" in this sentence somewhere.

Elizabeth, sifting through numerous documents, pulled out a photo taken the day after Rachel's death. The photo shows Palestinians parading through the streets carrying a U.S. flag in her honor. How ironic. This is how Corrie -- pictured below -- really felt about the American flag.
Michael Paul Williams didn't mention the part about Rachel being a flag-burner. It must have slipped his mind. </sarcasm>

Soon, America was too preoccupied with bogus accounts of a war heroine to pay much attention to Corrie's plight. I'd visit with Jessica Lynch any day of the week rather than with Rachel Corrie's burning social-justice family.

Rachel's is the face of America that Palestinians wanted to believe,"Where's that picture of Rachel burning a mock American and a mock Israeli flag, whilst screaming in rage?
Yeah, that's the face that I'LL believe...

Elizabeth seems to think that the world should stop because her goofy cousin decided to get it on with a tank and lost badly. Boo hoo. Maybe they should teach "Tank Avoidance 101" as part of their wacko social justice classes. Stupid b*tches, both of them.

Google up the writer, and he seems to be a professional liberal...founded the local chapter of the association of black journalists, did a gig at Harvard, etc. Likely hasn't had an original thought since puberty.

"Somebody sent them a little toy bulldozer in the mail," Elizabeth said. How tasteless! They should of sent them a gift certificate to the International House of Pancakes instead!
