Fox and Friends turns up the juice.

I must admit that I cannot stand the weekend edition of Fox and Friends. Mike Jerrick rarely contributes to the discussion, and that leaves Juliet argueing with Julian Phillips most of the program. Julian uses "Katie Couric" language such as "some feel" or "most feel." I hear Julian dance around the actual subject and attempt to make himself look neutral only then to parrot the liberal line.
Julian will say something like this "You know some feel and I think I gotta agree with Dean. This capture of Saddam really hasn't made us any safer." By starting with "some feel" its as if he's quoting some anonymous group. Contrast that to the three hosts who work during the week. Why just this morning I heard Steve, E.D., and Brian talking about the White House Christmas party.
Steve:
"You know we got the meet the Vice President."
(Steve showing pictures of his the Vice President and himself.)
E.D.:
"We couldn't figure out what to get the Vice President."
Steve:
"No gifts over 20 bucks right?"
E.D.:
"Right. Nothing over 20 bucks. So we got him a 20 dollar gift certificate to Joe's pizza down in Crawford."
Steve:
"Ha! You gave that to a guy with a heart condition?"
E.D.:
"I know. We started to feel really bad when we realized this. But when we were able to give it to him he said it was the best gift he could have gotten. He loved it!"
Steve:
"I stood in line and got to meet the Vice President as well. We got to take a picture with him. When I got up to the front of the line I told him that I thought this was the line to meet Santa?!??!"
E.D.:
"Oh No! What did he say?"
Steve:
"He laughed. He told me that I could have anything I wanted this year."
And E.D. ends the segment with a BANG!
E.D.:
"Its not Dick Cheney that does that. Its Congress!!!!!"

This thread should be moved to chat and you should sign up for anger management classes.
And basil wouldn't beat me up. I'm a fellow Texan. YOU, on the other hand, are one of those irritating Okies. :-)

She was the entertainment reporter in California. She was filling in on the Hard News segment and used the term "Axis of Weasels", made me snort coffee all over the keyboard.

Most men are only willing to give ya 43 seconds.
Being hit with a "sledge" may make our short time together more memorable.

THOUGHTS TO LIVE BY ON SATURDAY MORNINGRaising teenagers is like nailing Jell-o to a tree.
Car sickness is the feeling you get when the monthly car payment is due.
Families are like fudge .. mostly sweet with a few nuts.
Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
Laughing helps. It's like jogging on the inside.
Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy.
One day I shall burst my buds of calm and blossom into hysteria.
If you can remain calm, you just don't have all the facts.
Life's golden age is when the kids are too old to need baby-sitters and too young to borrow the family car.
Eat a live toad first thing in the morning, and nothing worse can happen to you the rest of the day!
Now, isn't that better.. It is my New Year gift to you.. :)

I was not blessed with Dhue lips.I saw it, chicken lips. ;)
I spoke too soon. Anyhow, you are a very funny, intelligent woman.........with those thin lips. Not a bad combo (funny, intelligent, and those lips) -- better than nearly bald, getting old, and nearing bitter like me!

Thank you for supplying the only redeeming reply on this thread. :-)

I do follow the show very closely and I was just using Julian's Bible quote as a reference. Of course, I know that referencing the Bible does not automatically make one conservative. I don't need anyone to tell me that nor do I need any "insight" into the show. I don't always agree with everything they say, but I also don't call for their heads when I disagree.
And I am not the only one that agrees with me! Also, why do you say "feel this way", I thought that was Katie Courie speak?

This is getting donkey deep. Conversations about Dhue-lips and Dipsticks on the same thread upsets my delicate sensibilities so I will take my leave now.
Ya know, one could really get carried away with the possible alliterative euphemisms here...
...apertures and Anacondas...beaks and Beef Sticks... chops and Chicksicles... gills and Grinding Tools... jaws and Jackhammers.... kissers and Kojaks... facial orifices and Fallopian Fiddlers.... yaps and Yum-Yums...
And what does "Bluntpoint" mean, anyway?
(Ah-em). I'll be making my exit now...
To: Nita Nupress
Yeah, sure, leave now after you teased us to the point of no return.
Time for a cold shower!

And what does "Bluntpoint" mean, anyway? As was said before, 'you can't do precision work with a sledgehammer.'
Speaking for Bp, "frank" and "precise" sound appropriate. Hmmmm?

The difference is that after I said I felt this way..I backed it up with facts. You didn't. And Julian doesn't either.

I don't have time to post a bunch of so called "facts".
Your facts seem to mainly be people expressing their own opinions with a little bit of transcripts, which is fine. But after reading all your posts on the subject, you seem to be a little obsessed. However, I think if you emailed Julian with your concerns he would try to put your mind at ease.
Remember, fair and balanced.

Agree. All three of them ask the TOUGH QUESTIONS and...they stay on them. I've seen too many others cave. Bill O caves a lot depending on whom he has on. The weekday Fox and Friends crew Rocks!
